I'm not willing to give that much power over my life to some high school dropout with a badge and a power trip.

Uh, you act like everyone gets anally probed by the TSA. I am Indian and have never been stopped by TSA, and I fly pretty often. Obviously this is anecdotal, but I really haven't seen too many people get searched beyond a basic pat down.
