I thought the information was given up by one of Tiger Wood's mistresses who also slept with Simon Cowbell.

31 flavors? I believe it's called 'Baskin Robbins' my friend submitter.

He'd only be leaving it to do an American version of X Factor, which is identical to Idol, except Simon gets more money. Don't rejoice too soon

To be replaced by Zack de la Rocha?

So, I guess you don't go to minor league or college games? Everyone needs to be a world-class performer before they are blessed with your presence?

Why would he quit his own franchise??

Ball of Confusion: Why would he quit his own franchise??

He doesn't need the money....or the headaches.

No way he gives up the gazillion dollars. Even he is smarter than that.

Ever meet any rich people? They never have enough money, that's how they keep score.

Ball of Confusion: Why would he quit his own franchise??

because Idol isn't his franchise, he's just its face; his franchise is the X factor, he'd get a bigger cut of all profits if that was run in America instead of Idol.

The sad thing is, if he quits it is only to start an American version of X-Factor. Then you can have American versions of Susan Boyle. Fun times of turning the television off in disgust are ahead of me.

So then it's just plain old fashioned greed. Looks like Simon went to the same school of contract negotiations as Howard Stern.
