I remember seeing a clip on TV several years ago about a Japanese guy who has a pet penguin. He puts a backpack on the penguin, puts money and a shopping list in the backpack, and the penguin goes to the market and picks up groceries for him (the grocers fill the backpack, obviously). I've wanted one ever since.
