I saw him and his family on the street some years back. They were the most impeccably dressed people I had ever seen. Not a wrinkle on the bunch. Not a button or shoe unpolished. Everything perfectly pressed. Everything perfectly tailored - impeccable. Just out of the box. Very lovely.

I don't know if this was their usual fashion mode but I got exhausted just looking at them.

I was emailing him about a project he was putting together and the response was "gimmie a break dude, my wife just died".

A few years ago the exact same thing happened to me with a playwright. I calld his home and his wife said "sorry Dave, Jimmy cannot come to the phone right now. He just dropped dead 20 minutes ago in the lobby".

i only know her "deal" from links posted here, but hot damn is she entertaining.

i know her husband is (was?) a pro football QB. i wonder if he ever pulls her aside and tells her to tone it down as she's hurting his brand. or alternately, whether "the view" staffers strap her down to a gurney before every show, "clockwork orange" style, and shoot her full of red bull and hi octane coffee, and clip her eyebrows open and force her to watch a 10 minute highlight reel of democratic highlights or 9/11 footage or something.

His wife could have conceivably seen parts of the movie before she died, though.

The original release date of the movie was March of 2009, putting a test or screener version of the flick well within a time when she could have seen the movie, or portions of it, before she died in April. The release date was only pushed back because they wanted to take advantage of the 'awards season'.

Having said that, there's no way Hasselbeck would've known this because it would have meant her gaining knowledge on a subject before opening her mouth. That, as it has been proven time and again, goes against her very nature.
