Oh yeah, the other day, i was doing some Xmas shopping and saw this (new window). My first thought was, "Wow, you'd never be able to sell that in the US."

In 2003 I took a driver's education class. We had this device, I'm not really sure what it's called, that projected images on the wall. There was a record player that played the audio, and when you heard a "beep" it meant to turn the projector to the next image.

It was like a PowerPoint presentation I guess.
