I've never been to the UK.

However, when I was in OZ, I tried a meat pie at a place that my son-in-law (a native Ozmium) assured me that was famous for its pies.

Crikey! (nobody says that down there) If there is any resemblance to the UK pies, I'm amazed that anyone could finish one at all. The 2-cup pie had about a 1/4 cup salt in it.
