What a national treasure. Yay inbreeding!

2009-12-15 08:53:20 AM
He makes Joe Biden seem a paragon of thoughtful eloquence. I, however, LOL'd at several of the comments, especially this one: In 1995, he asked a Scottish driving instructor: "How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?"

2009-12-15 09:15:02 AM
"Are you Indian or Pakistani? I can never tell the difference between you chaps."

Let's be honest, nobody can.

You gotta admit, this:

"Do you know they're now producing eating dogs for anorexics?" - Comment to a blind woman with a guide dog.

is funny.

"You managed not to get eaten then?" To a student who had been trekking in Papua New Guinea, 1998.

OK...that's f*cking hilarious.

I don't know. I guess I could see how he might have thought it could be humorous--especially since the kid was wearing a uniform and thus clearly had not actually picked out the tie colors himself. But generally you should save that kind of humor for people you've known for a while and are sure will not take offense.

I remember once I was at my cousin's house. She was about ten. We were watching the Miss America pageants and she said "I want to be Miss America!" And her mom goes, "Oh honey, you can't be Miss America, you're too round."

Maybe my aunt is British royalty.

Prince Philip, he's a card.

Has the habit of saying things like, "You're all a bunch of bastards!"

"Was that bad? I don't know what was going on."

It was, I think, China - a bunch of British students there. He went up and said, "Don't stay here too long, you'll become all slitty-eyed."

Off the map, isn't it?

Even as a joke it's just so stupid.

Like no one was going to mention it. What the fark?

He's like some ambassador turning up saying, "You're all farkers! Why don't you all piss off? Your problem is you're all foreigners. Bye."

"Did it go well, do you think? What phrase in particular?"

Prince Philip did manage to start banging his cousin shortly after he married Elizabeth. Which explains why all of her children look like they come from different fathers.

After only reading the article, it seemed like just some of that patented ultra-dry deprecating British humo{u)r. But reading some of the prince's older comments - ouch. Dude's a dick. (Of course, so are a lot of old men his age.)

FTFA: "Mocking the sight of a blind boy is something, even by his standards. He is a strange man with a very strange sense of humour."

Mr Menary said "I don't think there's any malice in what he says."

It's nice of him to be gracious, especially to the real handicapped person here, the prince. And he's right, it's not the old fart's fault. See, this is what happens when you f**k your sister and she delivers a member of royalty.

Hey and welcome to the Royal Comedy Tour. I'm your host, Prince Phillips. If the Swine Flu ever takes hold of Englsand, I'll be King Phillips formerly known as Prince.

Any Scotts out there, today? I was talking to a Scottish Driving instructor and I said "How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?"

But the Scotts are great people. Love their paper products. Say, I recently returned from China. Great people, the Chinese. I visited Canton. You know, they like to eat. I said "If it has got four legs and it's not a chair the Cantonese will eat it."

Thank you. Thank you. And now I must introduce the prop comic styling of Her Royal Highness, the Queen. But I gotta tell you guys, you're in luck. the Queen, you see is a little more highness today than usual thanks to her Glaucoma medicine.

The comment, made by the Duke of Edinburgh during a tree-planting ceremony in Hyde Park, London seven years ago, was revealed by Stephen's mum Carol.

That's some slow media they have in Northern Ireland.

To be fair, he was making fun of the tie, not the kid.

Dear Britain,

Here in America, we have what we call a "flag." It is a symbol of national identity, something we can all rally around. We do not need to pay it millions and millions of dollars per year so it can laze around being rich and famous. It does not do stupid, obnoxious things that embarrass us. It does not look like a horse, or a foot.

Just sayin'.

Love,
An American

The queen's consort's numerous gaffes
make an article quite full of laughs --
with a section so nice,
they printed it twice,
and repeated again second half.
