submitted bogus claims for reimbursement for durable medical equipment such as power wheelchairs and scooters.

I always got that vibe from those little rascal commercials. They practically say "even if you don't need it, medicare will pay for it!"

uneccessary power wheelchair and scooter reimbursements

In their defense, I don't know of any wheelchair and scooter reimbursements that are eccessary.

You know, I always thought that if, for whatever reason, I ballooned up to 400+ pounds, I'd say to myself "Gee, maybe I should lose some weight," not "You know what I need? A medical device that will relieve me of this burdensome activity of walking."

This woman (^) is a peach. She is a former state court judge in Nevada who was kicked off the bench for improprieties. Her former assistant is suing her for forcing him to give her back and neck massages. (think about that for a minute). And her husband is in jail for beating her with a frying pan.

So it's fine when they do it to us, but the second we do it to them they run baaawwing to the federal regulators.

Which further supports my theory that insurance companies are run with about the same mentality as a playground bully.

What really grinds my gears are morbidly obese people who classify themselves as "Handicapped" so they don't have to walk when they go places.

I'm pretty sure its a regular 7up, but yeah, its funny to see someone order like 2 triple baconators with a extra large fry and get a diet coke with it.

What I really hate are fat farkers who make my bus late loading/unloading their chariots of fail. One gunt needed to take ten minutes away from her fellow passengers' lives. To go four block. On a 'good' Seattle day. In a ride free zone.

Well, if a person is as fat as the fine ladies & gents posted here, I'd have to agree that they are indeed physically handicapped.

You know those department stores with poles spaced about 2 feet apart at every entrance so people can't run off with the carts? They should install those at fast food joints. If you can't fit between the poles anymore, you're cut off.

How would you propose blocking the drivethru? And is the drivethru scooter-accessible?

I tore my medial meniscus in my left knee October of last year. A couple friends and I went into the grocery store and they had the scooters, I was all about it.

Was kind of a dick though, stuck my crutches off the side and plowed into people on "accident." Knocked multiple things off shelves trying to reach for them with a crutch, then when people would offer to help I would scream "I'm not a cripple!" then speed off.

Good times.

I think what you are trying to say is that when the private sector does it to the government, it's fraud. When the government does it to the private sector, it's called stimulus. RTFA.

Think about that for a moment.

Am I sick and tired of you judgemental Farkers! Just because someone is corpulent and uses mobility aid, doesn't necessarily mean that their weight is due to laziness. Most of you are probably on the hefty side and if you were to necessitate a mobility aid, I'm sure you wouldn't like the scorn.

If the clerk senses that the passenger may already be too fat, he would pour two bags of cheetos in the sunroof. If it's enough to overflow the car, the passenger is too fat.
