I have dropped a glass christmas bulb on a laminate floor and had it bounce back up. Unfortunately, I was so shocked by this unexpected turn of events that I didn't react in time to catch it on the rebound. It broke the second time it hit the floor.

Dude, that's not funny man. One year, I was decorating the tree naked (it's a tradition) and I fell onto a Christmas ball and it went straight up my anus. I immediately tried to pass it under my own power, but it quickly became clear that it was really in there. So- off the ER I went and there I had to endure all the snickers and laughs from the doctors and staff. Nobody believed me when I tried to explain that I fell.

It is that time of year we review past Calvin snowman themed cartoons.

Sorry, but I love Christmas. I love getting the tree (even though I've killed it). I love decorating the tree. I love the festive music. I LOVE getting presents for the ones I love. I love wrapping presents, and seeing them under the tree. I love drinking games with the hubby to the awful movies showing 24/7 on the Hallmark channel.

When is it time for "these christmas decoration are an insult to me and everything I hold dear and you'll be hearing from my lawyers"?

The article just suggests that using Oleander as a Christmas decoration isn't a good idea, since it's highly toxic, and emits an irritant sap.

Sounds like good advice, actually.

QFT. This isn't a "Poinsettias will kill you/your pet! Well, not really" article. This is a "there are some otherwise beautiful plants that will fark you up" article. Useful for those who have say, house rabbits that will eat farkin' near any growing thing.

I do too, though we've switched to an artificial tree due to allergies.

Oh good, it's time for "Oh good, it's time for seasonal articles" headlines.

Of course, it's ALWAYS time for those. We used to get the day after the all-star game off, but now the "day after the all-star game" article headlines have taken that from us, too.
