A wendy's ad for the An-Burger. "An", as far as I know, is in reference to red bean (paste/pulp/filling). Ad says they're using that to replace the meat in the burger, which can be served with cheese. I'm assuming Hello Kitty is trying to say "I can haz?". I'd personally use watashi ni kudasai/わたしにください (please give me) if that is the case.

And for those people reading the Caturday thread who don't like what you see, empower yourself! Make some new lolcats that you think are great and post them. Complaining about it when you don't have anything to offer yourself is just sad, really. The more lols the better!

Hi QJ -- Yeah I think a whole bunch of posts just disappeared! I started reading at 527 posts, then refreshed the page, and suddenly there were only 490 something.

Glad you posted the protest pic again, that is too good to lose!

I just did a quick run through, it seems that a certain trollish posters comment and all the comments made in response were deleted.

That's pretty much what I was going for. For some reason, Babelfish doesn't have a "haz" equivalent in their Japanese translator.

Thanks, hon, for the well-meaning note. I did check already, and poinsettias are not poisonous. You can look on snopes.com (or another site) for the same information, if you want. Before my mom even set the plants out I'd made sure Tracy would be ok. There are indeed many plants poisonous to kittehs, but poinsettias aren't one of them.

LintLicker: SNG, earlier I saw your cat in the pointsettias (sp?).. I didn't check online to confirm.. but I've always believed that they were poisonous to felines. That's why we never get them for our house.

Yep, I was scrolling through the thread again so Dragon could start picking the contest winners and bang..like 30 posts disappeared. I personally think it should have stayed as an object lesson to the ignorant.

It is called Berlin Sans FB Demi. I add the outline myself in PS if it needs it. :) Glad you like.

You are correct. However, while not deadly, the sap can still be irritating according to the ASPCA Poison Control Website (pops.) So if your kitty likes to nibble on plants (as Dragon does, he even chews my plastic ones) you might consider keeping them out of reach, just in case.

BTW, SHG, Dragon seems to be feeling much better, the vomiting has stopped, and he's eating well. Thanks for asking.

There's a story to the base picture used here.

This morning, I took my mother to breakfast since she can't get out on her own. Her health has been declining and she has been in a "Bah! Humbug!" frame of mind all week.

While we were at the restaurant, Santa and one of helpers came in for breakfast. I persuaded him to come over and let me get a picture of him with my mother. I shot some others too, and this is one of them.
