BAAAHAHAHA! Oh, there's nothing more hilarious than dumb people.

Talk about keeping stereotypes of frats intact. Time to put them on double-secret probation.

they should have been arrested for being frat boys. they're a main source of terrorism in America.
2003-03-29 09:05:52 PM
This was in the Spectator or Generator of whatever the Fark the UB newspaper is called. I don't read it because it is stupid and the cartoon thing is reallly farking hard to read. The Generator, or whatever, is teh ghey. Anyway, my point is that I was going to submit this because I thought it would be posted, then I realized how farking stupid it was.

Here is a better version of the story from the UB Spectator.

Actually, no it isn't.

Frat boys, frat boys
Whatcha' gonna do when they come for you?

All frat boys are considered idiots until proven otherwise.
2003-03-29 09:08:45 PM
Amusing is right. Still... I gotta give it to MTV. Covering Spring Break with stuff that can make it to Cable TV probably keeps a few kids out of trouble, at least for some time.

The truth of college life #12: Sorority girls are hot (and according to most movies I see, bisexual), frat boys are stupid and hate nerds.
2003-03-29 09:13:22 PM
Funny how this happens after the frat was already suspended by the University after UB thought the actions that happened on the show could be considered "Hazing".

They'll get support from their national frat leaders though......oh wait, no they won't-- they're only a local frat.

2003-03-29 09:13:42 PM
A local law frat once made the rounds stealing lawn ornaments from several neighborhoods... only to proudly display it on their front lawn. Community service.
2003-03-29 09:14:56 PM
stupid, stupid, adorable, vacant, pretty frat boys. Ah, sigh, if only all college life was like this.
now, back to giving blood for food money and making calls on the internet.
2003-03-29 09:15:04 PM
I made it a habit of banging frat boys girlfriends while in college. Left em sticky and confused...
2003-03-29 09:15:17 PM
You know what would have been funny? If they'd jumped the back wall of, say, the tiger enclosure by accident. MTV could recover the tape and put it on the air. Would be funny as hell.

And yes I know the tigers aren't outside at night, I can dream can't I?
2003-03-29 09:16:22 PM
Man I hate MTV. and I did try to watch that frat show. It's just like the girls college show. Cept the boys are the whiny ones. Why does everyone who's on MTV feel the need to be extremely annoying?
2003-03-29 09:18:06 PM

I would think that MTV could lose its license. Yo are not allowed, as a broadcaster to encourage anyone to break the law. Opie and Anthony got their station in trouble in NYC for doing the same thing(sex in a public place). If someone filed a complaint with the FCC, there could be trouble for MTV.

Of course, I am not a lawyer, I only play on one on the internet, so take any thing I say with a grain of salt.
2003-03-29 09:35:47 PM
HAHAHA I saw that and said "How stupid are these people breaking into a zoo with a filmcrew."
2003-03-29 09:37:28 PM
AlexiLalasFan, it's because MTV in and of itself is annoying. Therefore, anything connected to it is annoying. And quite toolish.
2003-03-29 09:38:09 PM
Since MTV is only carried on Cable TV not actually broadcast on the air (No FCC License requiring the station be run 'in the public interest'), I think they can do whatever they want.
2003-03-29 09:45:51 PM
MTV to the world: whatevah, whatevah, i do what i want. i skip school and kill people. i'm in 19 gangs that only commit hate crimes. i put jabba the hut in the original star wars. i ran for congress, won, had sex with an intern, killed her, and hid her body. whatevah, whatevah, i do what i want.
2003-03-29 09:46:23 PM
we need a tag for something worse than dumbassed-ness . . . perhaps "MORON"?
2003-03-29 09:57:55 PM
Hilarious. Nuff said.
2003-03-29 10:02:09 PM
Just as dumb as the teens who stole a koala a few years back so one of the dorks could give it to his girlfriend. Duh.
2003-03-29 10:23:02 PM
Frats are for idiots who want to hold on to one last rotted rung of social inclusion before their incapacity for social survival puts them in the coffins of loserdom.
2003-03-29 10:24:29 PM
Battlefield, and they want to pay for it. Not just their money, but also their dignity.

Have any of the farkers out there who didn't crave the high schoolesque acceptance that a frat offered at college noticed that ALL the brothers always belonged to "the one frat on campus that was cool and not like those a-holes at (insert long-standing rival here)"?

Thankfully, I went to Rutgers Camden and the fratties there either burned down their house or got kicked off campus.
2003-03-29 11:07:43 PM

in the bonds brother!
2003-03-29 11:09:10 PM

i think i kicked your ass in college

Jackasses, more like it.
2003-03-29 11:16:54 PM
Yeah, probably, but I kind of deserved it...a threesome with your girlfriend AND your sister? WOW, that must have been a harsh pill to swallow. Thanks for breaking the GF in, though and your sister was TERRIFIC.

I am just kidding folks, isn't Noobert a good sport? Everyone give him a nice round of applause.

(dude, you kind of walked into that one. just kidding.)
2003-03-29 11:17:38 PM
Ahhh, the wrath of the preppy gang.
2003-03-29 11:18:31 PM
Ok, that was unnecessarily harsh. Sorry my man. Really, I was just kidding. C'mon over and I'll bake you some cookies.

These things wouldn't happen if MTV would just play music videos!

Hail to the purple. Hail to the gold.
Hail to Phi Alpha motto of old.

I just wanted to state that I've never met a bi sorority girl, since someone up there seems to think a lot of us are bi. ;) Sorry to disappoint.

Oh, and I also wanted to state that I've never met an intelligent frat guy. :) Then again, I've never met a sober frat guy . . .
2003-03-29 11:41:05 PM
My neighbor is a bi sorority, pass it on.
2003-03-29 11:47:42 PM
I'm always amazed that frats continue to recruit. are there that many people around that need to pay for friends?

My roommate is in a frat, and I occasionally hang out with some of the other guys in the frat, yet the thought of having to pay to hang out with them is laughable.

Anyways, where was I, oh ya, Frat boys are sad, sad little men who have to pay other sad little men to feel accepted.
2003-03-30 12:33:29 AM
That whole thing about frats just being paying for friends is tired and played out like saying the war is just about oil. Fratenity dues pay mostly for insurance. In the 1990's when I was in school we had to have insurance to through BYOB parties even when we carded. Then we had house expenses, and other costs. We actually did a ton of philanthropy stuff (I was in charge of that and the chaplain) and helped by sponsering events at our school. When we sponsered events they were open for anyone to attend and we never charged a dime. My lame ass college had no programming outside of academics so it fell on student organizations to put together activities.
We tended to hang out with just about everyone and were a pretty diverse group.
I am glad that there is still one group out there that it is PC to stereotype.

Hey I saw that episode, it was just last week. One of the pledges didn't hang with the fratbros enough and the warned him. Then they showed him going to a few different places trying to steal stuff (farm to steal a chicken or a cow, zoo to get a monkey). MTV flashed the statute and penalties they faced for each stupid thing they did. He's a real loser, should provide for great entertainment in the future
2003-03-30 01:09:41 AM

So basically a housing program only with parties.

While agree that people who join Frats are not pathetically desperate for friends, everyone I've ever known to join one did so because they thought it would get them into a lot of parties and help them meet girls. I also think that the idea of belonging to an "exclusive" club is also exciting and important to many people.
