2003-03-29 02:36:31 PM
Gee, americans lashing out at another innocent target. Who'd a thunk it?
2003-03-29 02:37:10 PM
Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?
2003-03-29 02:37:42 PM
"i'll have a side of french fries, please. huh? they've been banned? well, just give me a potato and some vegetable oil then."
2003-03-29 02:37:49 PM
This just goes to show that my theory is correct:

People are Stupid
2003-03-29 02:39:13 PM
My friend living in Japan has to tell everyone she is from Canada now a days because of stupid crap like this. Sick, sad world.
2003-03-29 02:39:14 PM
So I wonder how people are treating "Grey Pou'pon?"
2003-03-29 02:39:37 PM
Im glad my country is run by 12 year olds. I can't wait for the moment when some promenent Congressman comes out and calls Iraq, "gay."

2003-03-29 02:39:46 PM

I'm not fond of a lot of Americans.
Is it something in the water that retards?..

Can anyone say 'mob mentality'?

2003-03-29 02:42:57 PM
Haven't we been through this before? When are we going to start renaming towns? I live about 40 miles from Paris, Tennessee, and I don't want to have to update my maps.
2003-03-29 02:43:02 PM
This is B.S. I went out and bought a gallon (yes, a gallon) of French's yesterday morning, and never once thought the name had any connection to France. No one I know thinks differently, and I'm sure we're representative of the vast majority of Americans. Stories like this come from people who already think we're all idiots and seize on anything that they can use to 'prove' their case. Probably aspiring Pentagon reporters ("are you lying when you give us the casualty counts?")
2003-03-29 02:43:27 PM
Seriously, we can stop this anti-french crap now. It was fun(ny) for a while, but now I'm tired of this bullshiat. Freedom Fries? Freedom Toast? See what happens when you get the sheep all riled up?

As a resident of the Americas, I've recently decided to make the switch to refering to people from the United States as Usonian.

I love french's mustard. They are my favorite all around. I found this at Wal*Mart one day and couldn't resist.

i say we attack anyone with the last name french too!
2003-03-29 02:44:48 PM
"A report on CNN apparently showed one restaurant replacing French's mustard with a Heinz product."

Hey dumbass, the Germans are opposed to this war too!
2003-03-29 02:45:58 PM
I hope we Americans aren't naturally idiotic from receiving the world's unwanted and dispossessed for so many years...
2003-03-29 02:47:21 PM
Hey Unfarkwithable, that's exactly what I bought yesterday. Smart and Final, not Wal Mart, but what a deal. $3.49, which is about one-fourth the per-ounce price if you bought it in one of those wimp-size squeeze bottles from a grocery store.
2003-03-29 02:47:47 PM
I won't eat a place serving "Freedom" anything.

Bashing the French is not patriotic.
2003-03-29 02:48:06 PM
With no mustard left available to him, Mustard Man is forced to update his image:

The same thing happened during WWI. Now we have 'hot dogs' instead of frankfurters here.
2003-03-29 02:48:32 PM
So mix a little English with Mayo, after all its what we has been selling to you shmucks for years and selling as French. Good job people.I miss the witty, yet and informed comments.
2003-03-29 02:49:24 PM
Upon realizing that the English language is primarily derived from French and German, the same people promptly began to communicate only through gestures, grunts and defecation.

Gotta catch 'em first.

I like how it says "America's Favorite" on the label. Probably not much longer.
2003-03-29 02:51:58 PM
Crotchrocket Slim, nah, the wretched refuse are fine. It's the inbred types you have to worry about!
2003-03-29 02:52:03 PM
Fredom fries, Freedom toast - sigh.
America, the country of short memories.
If it wasn't for the French, American suck-holes (pardon my Freedom/Speech) would be flying the Union Jack today. Now for 50 points and a jar of Freedom Mustaard, what country helped the American colonists defeat the British?

Answer for dummies: In 1777, Benjamin Franklin (a genius and true hero), then at Paris, set out to prove via pen and paper that an investment in America was a smart one. The French agreed, funded the American "terrorists" and fought along side them. The French navy helped blockade British ships.

We now continue with your regularly scheduled flamewar...
2003-03-29 02:52:19 PM
Soporific, you left out short-sighted and selfish. I've been using the "3 S" theory to accurately predict human behavior for years.

now must go to the store to make hotdogs...
2003-03-29 02:54:23 PM
English dressing? Never heard of it. For that matter, Miracle Whip, Ketchup, and relish make a close approximation to Thousand Island.

Let's ban Heinz condiments because they sound vaguely German.

i will never use au jus for dipping again.
2003-03-29 02:57:04 PM
Quit slaggin' on the French. They're not that bad. We like them.
2003-03-29 02:58:17 PM
Every time someone trots out the old "France helped the US win the revolution" it only hurts their own cause. All it does is deepen the sense of betrayal. France USED to be such a good ally. Now they're backstabbers.

03-29-03 02:39:46 PM Bukharin

Bukharin, the smarter people are breeding less over here if that tells you anything. Btw, you're smokin'! Grrrrmmmmm=)
2003-03-29 03:00:49 PM
That reminds me, on a box of au gratin potatos, there is a recipe for cheese soup au gratin. Well I certainly hope any cheese dish is au gratin. Kinda like that sign that said "Soup of the Day: Soup Du Jour".

This announcement was brought to you by the Department of Redundancy Department.

What's the name of that guy from 3rd Rock from the Sun? Freedom Stewart? I wonder if his career is suffering(more). Didn't they just release Inspector Gadget 2 with him in it?
