Lily Cole is cute.

I saw this movie at the Black Nights film festival in Tallinn last week. In my 40 years, I've only left the movie theater early three times. This was one of the three.

It was visually interesting, but after an hour, I decided my time would be spent better at other films. I would rather remember Ledger for the Joker.

Too bad. I loved Brazil. This movie was Brazil, with an extra chromosome.

What's wrong with her head? It is sort of shaped like a lightbulb and her eyes seem to be a bit googley.

Regardless, I've been with worse... a lot worse... (sigh)

Supposedly The Road is a pretty faithful adaption. They've sort of mis-marketed it with the last trailer. It's pretty depressing.

After 'Brothers Grimm' and 'Tideland', and his production of Don Quixote being so bad that GOD had to stop it, I'm not willing to encourage a man that no longer has the ability to make movies.

Yes, she has legs that go on forever! She's 5'10", but in those shoes she's at least 6'3"! I've been looking forward to this film for over a year now and I can't wait to see it. From what I've seen and heard about it, it's going to be an amazing film plus the fact it was finished as a total act of love by all involved just for Heath. The tag line even reads "A Film by Heath Ledger and Friends".

BTW, if you think she's ubertall, check this out. Heath - 6'3", Verne - 2' 8"! Freaky!!

"Grimm" wasn't his fault, you can blame that one on the Weinsteins for mucking that up. What he shot and what you saw were two different films altogether. Sorry you didn't like "Tideland" either. Movies that actually make you think and feel can be hard to watch as opposed to the ones that "blow stuff up real good".

On a better note, "Don Quixote" is back in preproduction as we speak. He's rewriting the script now to begin sometime early next year.
