I've spent some time in Valparaiso, performing puppet shows. Got a bullshiat parking ticket, went to the police station and biatched out the cops, but it didn't do any good. Bought a bag of extra delicious Esopus Spitzenberg apples. Visited the Hoosier Bat Company, which was very cool, learned about their hickory/maple/ash composite bats and how Louisville Slugger is strongarming MLB to keep them out of the majors. Bought a bat for my niece's birthday.

Tried to talk to folks about Valparaiso, by Don Delillo, although none of them had ever read it. Saw signs for Don Quixote, "Indiana's only Spanish restaurant", but never ate there.

And that's all I have to say about Valparaiso, Indiana.
