"I still don't quite know what to make of this," said Halloran, who's not surprised that people are willing to give, especially to children in need, but was surprised that people all over the United States are so generously giving to children in Danville.

He's obviously not a long term farker. My theory is that we're all such scumbags we have to do something to offset it.

2009-12-03 12:10:56 PM

netweavr: GM or Birdy, what's the count of gifts given up to?

Birdy's keeping tally but it was at like 570 last I checked- yesterday. Home sick right now but I'll run another tally tonight.

Seriously, you guys are awesome- this all went really well. My company's now getting one started for the St. Bernard Project here in New Orleans, because I mentioned this at the office.

This is really cool. I'm sorry I missed the list the first time. I like to donate to Child's Play and it seems to me kids in foster care are in (sometimes) a similar situation. Never thought of it before.

Thanks to both of you.

That was the first time I ever bought something off a wish list. The rest of you AWs should take notes on how GM does it.

It would be fark if we did something nice for children and didn't follow it up with a molestation joke. Great job everyone.

You know who else liked to touch the children during the holidays?

And has done good, with this project and with a lot of other projects in the past. This was awesome, but I knew you guys would come through going in.
