I just find it astonishing that someone would ask for, and someone else would agree to a $300M prenup. What could anyone do by way of marriage that would warrant receiving a third of a billion dollars when that marriage dissolved? Inconceivable.

Sorry, no $300 million pre-nup. It was closer to $20 million(with a ten year marriage minimum) as reported by other sources and is being re-written to be higher and shorter so that she will stick with him. This $300 million is a ridiculous made-up number. Also, keep inm in the figures are based upon his financial status in 2004.

I just assumed that $300 million was half the amount they've earned as a marital unit, plus a little bit of 'Thanks for raising the kids' money. Isn't that how pre-nups work? The poorer party agrees that they have no claim (or some claim, if the richer party agrees) of money earned before the marriage, and half (Eddie!) of all marital earnings from there on out?

/a bit above the going rate, even for a total biscuit like her.

Yeah, what i meant was "his best" in regards to what he was capable of, not as in best over his career. Like in a "give it your best" kind of way.

Tiger should have had major 15 this year. A few strokes could be the difference between 19 majors and 16 majors over his career. If Tiger misses out on having a 19th+ major win because of women troubles... well that is just stupid lame.

I think she's absolutely beautiful, reminds me of a girl I dated a while in law school. But hot women are like fine art or music - opinions vary and arguing too much over their merits turns you into a douchebag.

That may be a pretty standard form, but all they are is a negotiated agreement between the two parties. You could get a prenup saying that if you divorce, your ex wife has to pay you a million bucks every year if you could get her to agree to it. There's no mandatory formula whatsoever. All it's subject to is standard contract law- can't sign over your rights, can't be bound to doing something illegal or anything like that.
