(Telegraph)   Rice paddy art. Sure it's a slide show, but if they can plan and plant this and erect a tower to view it from, surely you can manage to move your mouse   (telegraph.co.uk) divider line 41

I think a helicopter was the viewing platform, still some neat pictures that are worth a click-through.

The butterfly, frog, dragonfly, and beetle all look like the same field.

Web sites sometimes artificially increase their click counts by putting one article on multiple pages. This makes it difficult (next page)

to read these articles, and makes it difficult to load the pages at all if they get farked. it also (next page)

-----------------------------

(previous page) takes on a life of its own as web designers (next page)

---------------------

(previous page) continually keep upping their page count, trying to skim more money off the sites at the expense of the readers' time. We here on fark are generally trying not to reward such behaviour. (next page)

No crops are being wasted here. They are just planting different varieties of rice that have different colored leaves to make the art.

I dont know, every time I had to click the next button it was in a slightly different place on the page and that caused a lot of stress on my wrist. I think I caught that corporal tunnel syndrome just now and how is it art anyway if there arent any breasts in it?

tkirby's picture would be pretty at the Coliseum's 50-yard line with minor modifications.

Heard about this a couple of years ago. Apparently it's an all-volunteer effort. Donated land. The harvested rice is sold to raise money for charity.
