They keep up like this, and then create some black box voting machines to sell to state election commissions, and someone might mistake them for Diebold.

Another one? This is really stretching the limits of credibility for the "sting".

The guy's got to be either planting workers inside ACORN to "expose" or paying existing workers to put on a show.

I'm still waiting for someone to answer the concerns raised about Glen Beck's alleged underaged sex slave. Why can't he just answer the questions instead of completely ignoring the issue? Seems suspect to me.

I'll be inclined towards caring about this when it's covered someplace other than a right-wing blog. Or Breitbart, which is pretty much the same thing.

What really make this particular round delicious is that the columnist, James Rainey, said that the ACORN lady didn't offer to help them in their crimes. Then he wrote...

Yet no legitimate news organization can claim editorial integrity if it merely regurgitates information from political activists without subjecting the material to serious scrutiny.

Which could have been stronger if he had contacted the folks with the video that would prove the ACORN broad was lying through her teeth.

This is going to be death by a thousand cuts and it's hillarious.

relcec: huh? must be trolling...

Nope, dead serious.

I just think it highly unlikely that there are that many people willing to risk their job and commit a felony on behalf of a total stranger for no personal gain.

And it's not unheard of for even real news stations to stoop to manufacturing their investigative stories -- when I was in high school, a friend of mine (who worked at a grocery store, and was planning on quitting the next week anyway) accepted $500 from our local "Eyewitness Investigative Report" to be 'secretly' filmed dropping some meat on the floor and then putting it in the display case for sale. And a political activist has even less reason to be above-board than a news station whose viewership and thus income is derived in large part from their reputation.

I just think it's far easier to plant or bribe people into acting for these videos than it is to find someone who seriously would break the law to this extent for a total stranger.

Yet, somehow, I think if it were a right wing organization that had close associations to a Republican president there would be no question about the evidence no matter what it's source. Or accuracy. Or even existence. Just the allegation would be enough.

I didn't bother to read the article, but I'm guessing by "help you launder money", the author really means "immediately call the police", just like the last "sting"?

I swear to FSM the right-wing blogs would say the sky was red if ACORN said it was blue.

Help laundering money to pimp underaged girls? That just reeks of socialism!

I say down with this insidious communism creeping into our illegal sex economy! Any independent, red-blooded American should be downright ashamed to accept a government funded handout of legal advice on pimping. What we need is a free market for child prostitution advice. These elitist liberal ACORN types need to be called out for spreading malicious falsehoods about the ability of an independent American to build up an underaged prostitution business by their own bootstraps.

Nope, I've never been on the various Diebold/Halliburton conspiracy theories. I do think that all e-voting machines should have a paper trail for validation and for an independent recount, but the mere allegation of fraud was certainly not enough to make me believe it without evidence.

Once they are fired and disgraced what keeps them quiet? Are they still getting paid a monthly stipend by this guy as we speak? How does he meet these people all over the country? What are the odds that now after a 8 of these videos no one he ever contacted to bribe ever turned him down and told their boss? What about the fact that there were apparently Acorn offices that told him to get lost? Why aren't they spilling the beans about his attempted bribery?

Where's one of the Occam dudes to explain to you how likely it is you are wrong. There is usually one kicking around.

/can't believe you've reached the point of self delusion where a ton of evidence means there must be a conspiracy to invent this shiat, you sound just like a truther now...

I must have missed all the white liberals in pimp costumes from Party City playing retarded Candid Camera pranks on Diebold and PNAC and citing them as "evidence" of anything.
