I think i'm the only one who hated Brotherhood of the Wolf. Marc dacsacsos was ok but it advertised itself as a werewolf movie and it wasn't that at all. I cringed when i watched that dinner scene with the furry fish.

On a Walken-related note, "needs more cowbell" is all very well and good, but I think "Colonel Angus" should be instituted as a new cliche. I've seen the Colonel Angus script before, but I just saw the actual sketch last Saturday. LMAO!

/doesn't know the Colonel yet, but can't wait to

No way Vominator... Michael Moore kicks major ass! Besides he so dreamy.

Mommy was rather upset last night during the broadcast, being, as I am, a HUGE fan of the Walken Man, but I must say, Adrien Brody's audacity and followup comment (You didn't know that was included in the gift bag, didja?) was the highlight of an other wise boring evening. That and the entire panel of nominees for best documentary feature actually standing up for what they believed in was interesting. The soldiers in Iraq are fighting for the rights of the rest of us to be able to express those views. No matter what my opinions are, I am behind our troops 100%. (used to be one myself, so there)

On the other hand, we DID get to see Mr. Walken on the stage when they ran down the list of 59 previous winners. Guy looks exceptional for someone about to turn 60!

No, not really...I was very much let down by BOtW, I thought the acting and particularly the CGI were pretty much balls. The cinematography was incredible though.

Man, I haven't read someone pointing out that these were dated February 24th or talking about who won the actual American Oscars in a few posts now. Could the millionth hotshot please reveal this information to all the others who are selectively blind?

At the Oscars:

Director John Waters suggested the Bush administration needed new writers. "I mean 'shock and awe?'" said the king of trash filmmaking. "It sounds like one of my movies."

Dated "tomorrow"...

Yeah, it's kinda got something to do with time zones, y'know?

2003-03-24 11:04:04 PM
yeah, time zones....because if I remember right, Sydney time is 17 hours ahead of PST. So, right now, at 8:04 PM (monday night), it's 1:04 PM (tuesday afternoon).

BAFTA winners?

Well they stuffed that up, didn't they?

Heh, I'll laugh loudly now because I work for Mr Murdoch.
