I'm a Kings fan and I am saddened by the fact that someone in the organization was this classless. It was probably someone small. An usher. A security guard. A ball-boy.

Make no mistake, Shaq is an asshole. But it's not like we're in some sort of contest to wrest the title away from him.

Let him spout his mouth. After the Yao Ming incident; his comments about Mike Bibby; his refusal to play for his country; etc.; the world can see that he's an asshole on their own. They don't need any help from us.

The word was "asshole." That word apparently was too strong for the sensitive Republicans at the O.C. Register to print. I submitted this story from the local Sacramento paper which prints the actual word, but for some reason that submission was rejected and this one was posted to the main page instead.

Anyway, what's the big deal. There's no more basis for disagreeing with the statement that "Shaq is an asshole" than there is for disagreeing with everthing else printed on the basketball, like "Inflate to 12 pounds," "Official NBA Basketball," or "Made in China." Shaq is a flaming asshole

I'm gonna guess "asshole".... if the writer uses proper grammar, he said "an" not "a", so "an" would mean the following word starts with a vowel. right ?
