Anyone replacing Lou Dobbs is a welcome change.

Sadly, Dobbs is eyeing a position in the new Teabagger party, and not sliding into well-deserved xenophobic obscurity, so it looks like we're still going to have to be blighted by his presence.

Now if only we can get a few more from CNN, and then Olbermann and Maddow and most of the rest of MSNBC, and then Begala and Carville and most any other talking head trotted out to opine on everything from social to military to economic concerns more than once a week, round them all up and stick them all on FOX (or take all of them plus FOX and migrate them to an entirely new channel) we might have a shot at cable news networks that actually care about just reporting news. Not "balanced screaming matches," not whackjobs with their own nightly shows pandering to their Kool-Aid-swilling audiences. Just news.

Hey, maybe with all the time that would be opened up from getting rid of all that drivel these 24-hour news networks could even cover more than 12 stories a day.

Zimmy: So when Glenn Beck is replaced...

That won't happen. CNN is one of the allegedly left-leaning channels, so someone like Dobbs would not be what the watchers want.

Beck, on the other hand, is preaching to the choir on Fox.

Glenn Beck was already replaced on CNN HLN by Jane Velez-Mitchell otherwise known as Nancy Grace lite.

Hmmm, I noticed none of the stories I read today mentioned the shot taken at his house. Not seeing any outrage about a news anchor being driven from his job by violence. His opinions are not politically correct, so I guess it's OK, right?

You mean the wayward hunting shot that hit his house in a hunting area with so little force that it bounced off his aluminum siding? The shot that there is no evidence what so ever had anything to do with Dobbs political positions rather than being the wayward shot of a hunter? The shot Dobbs didn't mention for weeks after it happened? Is that the shot you are talking about?

Assuming you are serious, you mean the shot he did not report to police? The police who, when asked, said, ""At this time of year, hunter complaints go up."

So says the radical Marxist anti-white left-wing NY Post.

FTA: The program will reflect what CNN is all about: straight facts from our anchors and the widest range of opinions from across the political spectrum

Do they really think they are fooling anyone with this BS mantra?

I guess their strategy does have potential.

Looks like CNN will be giving up a few more % points to Fox.

O that's right, not supposed to say anything positive about Fox on Fark.

Fun Fact: Fox has been kicking the crap out of CNN for a while now, this will make it worse and give Fox something to gloat about.

Who John King sticks his penis in at night:

Dana Ruth Schwartz was previously married to Jeremy Bash, the current Chief of Staff to CIA director Leon Panetta. She forced John King to convert to Judaism before marrying her. Her father, Stu Schwartz, is the senior broadcast producer of ABC News.

Nepotism and intermarrying in the news business and the government that it covers is the main reason why the quality of broadcast and cable news is so dreadfully low.

Great. Now if only we could round up everyone from FOX NEWS, and feed them to the pigs, and replace them with people who aren't complete, and utter assholes, we might be able to turn America's news media around!
