They're going to Kangaroo Court the "suspect" and are playing up the "we gave him a good lawyer" card before-hand.

I'll bet if his pompitous got some more love he wouldn't be in this situation right here. Which is why I don't trust any religion that cast aspersions on masturbation.

Nice way to drag the Islam religion through the mud, idiot. And then Muslims wonder why they are characterized as violent fanatics.

Looks like someone's in the nomination to beat out john edwards for "biggest douche of the universe"..

//also, aware he's a SUSPECT? that's the best use of the presumption of innocence ever.

Aware he's a suspect? Cheerist on a popsicle stick this is going to give the Troofers more evidence. This guy went psycho because he was involved in 911!!! He was going after his co-conspirators.

albo: "um, mistakes were made. those people were shot when i got there"

Heh. Yeah, not likely.

It does make you wonder just how weird it must be to play the defense in this type of case - I suspect it's mostly about the punishment phase, and making allowing the guy to make an honest statement?

I SUPPOSE he could possibly go for a true "not guilty by reason of insanity" defense but I highly doubt he'd get it, and if he doesn't get that, there's just no way to avoid the death penalty after killing 13 people, under the UCMJ. Or if there is, I sure don't know how they'd pull it off.

Not anymore. The military uses lethal injection nowadays.

It surprised me to find that out too.

I'm glad to know what is going on with our celebrity mass murdering piece of shiat. How long do you figure a civilian government can last if other shiatbirds start going off like this SNL eggheaded jihadi in Ft. Hood? Not long.

Oh and it's humiliating and deeply disturbing to see the farking lawyers and media profit off the blood of Americans being slaughtered in the name of PC farking insanity. They think this is some sort of farking video game. I swear to GOD. It's going to end and we are going to lose our freedoms and the reason will be that little farker Mo. Kind of sucks if you think hard enough about what is happening to us because of our silly-assed laid back motherfarking attitudes.

My guess is that the lawyer will be an absolute stickler for procedure. If possible, he'll be looking for any technicality, legal loophole, or slip up to get him out of the death penalty, or the best result (for our shooter) get a mistrial.
