Catholics should try to give the Church of Scientology the respect any well-established religion deserves. The fact that child-molesters are against abortion just seems weird to me, but that's another discussion for another day.

that is a brilliantly written troll. the only way it could have been better is if you had worked in a reference to the inquision or the crusades.

So let me ask you, prick, do you know what one of the key elements in molesting children is?

I would throw in some reference to the mind-boggling amount of riches that the Church has amassed over the years.

Hey! You got your "all Catholics are child molesters" slur in my "Scientologists impose compulsory abortion" thread!

While we're waiting, anyone up for "all conservatives are troglodytes" or "all liberals are effete girlymen"?

Josh Wheadon has never made a watchable episode of television, and the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series wasn't nearly as good as Dan Brown's books.

I just glanced at TFA and it friggin delivers.

Members of this "inner circle" of devotees are required to sign a contract agreeing to serve Sea Org "for the next billion years." They are given room and board plus a small wage for performing the various roles, such as gardeners, cooks, laborers, secretaries, graphics designers, writers, and assembly line workers.

holy crap! Talk about a raw deal.

Huzzah!

I guess, kind of. Except nun's and monks help people and maintain their church where as these saps are just COS's biatches. Fora billion years.
When have you ever seen a nun on an assembly line, or a monk as an advertising publicist? At least the church puts on the guise of helping folks. This is extraction of labor. I can't fathom the years of brainwashing it took for this to seem like a good idea.

That's what I'm thinking. And they don't even get the sweet release of Death, only a billion years of slavery.

So one large established cult is throwing a hissy fit at a newer, smaller, established religious cult. What, is the Catholic Church afraid the CoS is cutting into the available pool of gullible schmucks and hurting their bottom line?
