Generally, I'm against removal of children from their parents. But women like this prove exactly why it is so necessary in some cases.

And strangers would possess her bosom bare,
And strangers batten on our woodland air,"

She even binge drank while pregnant. The kid probably has a real nice case of fetal alcohol syndrome. Perhaps she would be best off with a can of lager shot at high velocity into the centre of her skull.

Lager shouldn't come in cans. Neither should ale. In fact, beer in general shouldn't be put in a can, unless it is being used on the grill for cooking. This woman should go to prison just for that.

Looks like Jack the Ripper missed one.

Do you really think this woman's worst crime is drinking shiatty beer? Really? I mean, I agree, she probably drank shiatty beer, but giving her kid FAS and being a shiatty parent are WAY worse IMO.

I get the impression she doesn't have discerning tastes. Although if I were a raging alcoholic I'd at least ask for something with more oomph than a can of beer.

No, her worst crime was drinking beer out of a can. I mean even if it was good beer it wasn't after they put it into a can. Who cares about the kid, the world needs ditch diggers far more than it needs canned beer,

Yes. It is my ardent belief that taste crimes against beer are far more important than child neglect/abuse. There are groups and organizations out there dedicated to dealing with abusive parents. Child welfare agencies deal with neglect on a daily basis. As far as I'm concerned, they've got that part covered. When it comes to beer crimes, who stands up and says, "No"? Who is there to fight back against tasteless bubbling piss? I will not go silently into the night, my friend. When the big beer companies come to take your Dogfish Head, Victory and Rogue, who will be there to help?

The brits are much bigger canned-beer consumers than you might think. Basically the "lagerlout" demographic, the one who drinks mostly as an accompaniment to public loitering, is passionately pro-can.
