As much as I cannot stand Rep. Frank, I'm glad he wasn't charged with anything. It's a shame our retarded laws allowed his partner to be charged.

Frank is the author of a medical marijuana bill that would outlaw the prosecution of persons who use marijuana for medicinal purposes.

Pretty dark outside right now isn't it?

The funniest part about your post, is your knee jerk reaction to the perceived notion that liberals would get their panties in a bunch over Fox reporting the sky was blue actually contains more truth than you know.

The problem with Fox doesn't lie with them reporting when the sky is blue, but rather denying that it ever goes black at all. Add in the ad hominem attacks whenever reality doesn't fit their worldview...and that's why most liberals people, have a problem with Fox News lately.

not that that has anything to do with the article mind you, but I thought I should point it out.

Fox News can be biased all they want. Whatever to that.

However, that 'Fair and Balanced' bullshiat claim is what annoys people. They are the most biased out of all the networks but try to push this false image that they aren't biased. If they just admitted to it, people wouldn't have as much of an issue. But FN is too busy claiming to be on the high road of integrity and fairness while in reality they are licking every piece of crap on the low road.

I've never met a member of DARE, but for the life of me I can't comprehend why anyone would be so irrationally against a plant that isn't addictive and has no permanent side-effects.

And yet we give corporations permits to put dead cocaine leaves in their product to preserve a non-existent status quo.

I like how FOX kicks everyone's ass in the ratings (almost two times over) and the haters get threads on FARK with misspelled words in the headline.

Rickerkioz: The funniest part about your post, is your knee jerk reaction to the perceived notion that liberals would get their panties in a bunch over Fox reporting the sky was blue actually contains more truth than you know.

Willful ignorance of my point. If Fox reported something that's generally accepted as true, there's a large, well-funded cadre of professional detractors who'll complain about it.

The problem with Fox doesn't lie with them reporting when the sky is blue, but rather denying that it ever goes black at all.

Some of their commentators, yes. There's nothing that can save Hannity. But the same could be said of Olbermann and Lou Dobbs. The news reporting is amazingly straight for most things, though they do tend to focus on the sensationalist stories. I have a feeling a lot of the content editors read Fark constantly.

Add in the ad hominem attacks whenever reality doesn't fit their worldview...and that's why most liberals people, have a problem with Fox News lately.

And those attacks are contained, where, exactly in this story? Oh, that's right, it's from Fox, so why bother reading anything beyond the headline!

And, judging by the cable ratings, I think your assumptions about viewership are quite off-the-mark.

not that that has anything to do with the article mind you, but I thought I should point it out.

Because it serves your political purposes. I accept that. But it still doesn't change the fact that the headline here is completely ignorant of the reality of the situation here. If it'd been an AP article, would that have changed their story? No, probably not. Would have it changed subby's headline? Absolutely not, because, WAAH FAUX NEWS.

I spent eight years working in television and radio on the local level, but also reported in a couple of situations for national and international sources (ABC radio, BBC via phone during a situation, via print for UPI....didn't get credit for that, and I'm still PO'd about it. Thank you, mister news director).

But there's no difference between the local Fox stations and the local big three stations. What sets Fox News apart from CNN and the broadcast networks is that they use local news delivery for everything. Every week is sweeps week on Fox. The more sensational the story, the more colloquial the delivery, the more people who watch.

And, despite the "noble" intentions of "journalists," they get paid to get people to stick around long enough to hear or see commercials. Nobody does that better than Fox.

Just saying. You guys had eight years to prove that there's anything to the whole "less government intrusion" stuff you like to pound on, and we got massive expansions of military and police powers, which you now selectively whine about except when it's pointed out that it's there because of you guys. Good job.

Oh, wait... You're a Free-Thinking Independent and so that has nothing at all to do with you, right?

By "kicks everyone's ass", we mean "gets half the ratings of pro wrestling and doesn't even have as much good advertising."

Call them Fox Ratings Whores, since apparently that's more important than being honest.

RockIsDead: So, it's really just the advertising slogan that gets your goat?

People expect news to be, well, news.
They've just grown to expect it as the nation grew.
Fox News is "news entertainment" and its slogan deceptively preys on those who do not/do not have time to research multiple sources on a story.
They've done more damage to the credibility of news media through their biases and blatant misrepresentations of clear facts (if not straight out lies) than CNN, MSNBC, et al could ever dream.

Funny but for some reason I can't find in the original article where he admitted anything on Friday. Was it in the audio bit? When was that recorded? Why slime someone 2 years later unless you are trying to push an agenda?

OMG, He knows someone who got arrested! And... he's GAY!
