Well that much is true, it looks like there were red flags everywhere. But that would also be true if he had been an ultra right-wing nationalist who spouted anti-government slogans all the time then finally went on a shooting spree.

My SO is a military contractor. Based on what I've seen from her work environment, someone that high up in rank could come in with warpaint and a machete and it would take MONTHS before any higher-up would "look into it."

Plus the guy was a doctor AND a psychiatrist. His client interactions were with a lot of people whose mental stability was already under question - - who in the administrative levels would focus on the patient complaints about a staff psychiatrist at the Army's top hospital?

Yesterday I was told this was the work of three people, one of whom had been shot dead.

Today CNN had "video footage" of him buying a cup of coffee.

I will wait a few days before assigning blame or cause. It's not going to make the soldiers any less dead, and you might find out that some of that stuff isn't completely true or relevant.
