I have a live MP3 of Lone Justice, then opening for U2, doing it circa 87, and then Bono comes out and duets with girlfriend. he alters the lyrics:

and then he does that annoying thing he did a lot in the 80s where he physically inserts the microphone inside his chest and breathes IN AND OUT OVER AND OVER SO THE ENTIRE STADIUM CAN HEAR HOW HARD HE'S BREATHING.

When it was released, I really hated The Trinity Session. But a couple years later I was brought around. Great album, especially considering how it was recorded.

In the same vein, but slightly more peppy (as was the source material)...

I think Margot nails this one! Sweet Jane & Lou Reed were all about the smack, and she sounds just like a stoned junkie.

The Cowboy Junkies are named after a Townes Van Zandt song (Cowboy Junkies Lament)...Now you know.

I used to work at Timothy's Coffees of The World (Canada's version of Starbucks before Starbucks came here) in the TD Centre in downtown Toronto. And Margot Timmins would regularly come in for a coffee while waiting for her husband who was a banker type guy. She was always really sweet and shy. And brought me tickets for a couple shows.

BTW there is a Timmins, Ontario....Named after Margot and Michael's family.

No it isn't. If, for example, you say something is 'arguably' the best. It doesn't mean it's the best, it means you are trying to establish that it is better than the thing which is currently considered the best. Therefore you can easy substitute the word 'not' for the word arguably.

It's a beautiful church too. It totally lends itself to the sound and feel. It's located next to the busiest area of the city of Toronto, which makes it ironic in a way. I love the building.
