I've got a pretty strong stomach and I had to lie down for about 20 minutes after a friend sent me that link a few weeks ago, because I was feeling dizzy and almost ready to puke.

I watched the video.... it wasn't that bad. 2G1C was far worse to me.

My mom spent her career as a nurse, so she's seen a few 'shops in her time, but I'd say leapin' face-first onto a pier from 5 stories up would make somebody WISH for a shotgun

It really isn't that bad -- the kid kind of looks like that alien from Independence Day on the table... all split open, or really any alien movie.

He doesn't die in the video. It ends with him on the operating table, obviously alive and gasping for breath despite the fact that one side of his face is pretty much entirely separate from the other. The craziest thing is probably the fact that the lips are maybe four or so inches from his jaw at some points, and yet they move in unison. I didn't do any research, but even if he stabilizes from the trauma, the likelihood of him not having some horrible infection are pretty low.
