According to the piece on them on ESPN, it generally takes 10-15 tries, IIRC. Most of those are harder than the ice video though. The upper deck stadium shot took 70 attempts.

If basketball is played at all in a pro sports capacity, it should definitely be on ice or trampolines

the existing court is too boring. It's like watching Newton's cradle go back and forth until the referee intervenes and awards the game to one team

It's a club team, not a varsity one. They had to practice/play in Houston or somewhere else ridiculously far away from campus before Arctic Wolf was built a few years ago.
