FTFA-

"As of Dec. 12, I had no wife, no family, no car, no computer, no home, no electricity, no gas and no way to obtain any of it," Aames said this week. "How do you start over from scratch? I didn't know. But I thought that if I made it, maybe, just maybe, it would be helpful to some people.

No less than Thomas W. Butch, the president of Waddell & Reed Inc., and the VH1 cable channel - which is airing a one-hour special on Aames tonight - took an interest in the former actor after he hit bottom."

So if I go broke I can haz reality show too?

He has a FINRA registration with a recent bankruptcy on his record?

Good luck getting a decent insurance company to appoint him.

Came for the Bibleman references, leaving happy.

Does this have anything to do with tithing?

Yeah, well I came for the Phoebe Cates in Paradise pics. So far, very disappointing.

He still has six more bankruptcies coming to him. After that, I think we'd all agree that eight is enough.

Is there an Eight Is Enough curse? Lani O'Grady ODed, Susan Richardson went nuts, Adam Rich hit the skids. And now Willie Aames shows being born again won't save you anyway.

Haaaalp me Charles!! HAAALP me!

Well, at least not while you're still alive and the Rapture hasn't yet arrived.

Actually, you'll be surprised how handy good bankruptcy advice can be. And what better way to understand bankruptcies a couple of times?

Uh, that should have read "what better way is there to understand bankruptcies than going through them a couple of times?"

If the financial planner thing doesn't work out he might have a chance as a folk singer

Of course it's hot

Seriously......the dude hit the high point of his career and probably life WAY too soon with certain scenes with Phoebe Cates. It was all obviously downhill from there.

Hey, we're about the same age, I turn 49 on Tuesday. Something about his face makes him look a few years older than 49, he's wrinkly and kind of grayish... chain-smoking for a few decades? Too much sun?

His hair's much better than mine, though.

Heck, I'm going to root for him. I do wish someone would hand me a $25,000 check to start over with. That would more than get me completely out of debt except for the mortgage) with a good rainy day fund. I've been foolish with money at times, but I was never dumb enough to spend $3,000 on tattoos. I guess that makes me ineligible.

Nope. Unless you are a 70s heartthrob.
