Once again, U2 is the center of the universe, for no apparent reason.

I'd rather see City perform "Am Fenster" there. An East German band from the 70's (still together); one of the band members spent time in prison for trying to escape over the wall.

It's just a ruse. Midway thru the concert Bono will shout "Tear Down This Wall" and a bunch of Gastarbeiters will run out and demolish it.

Bono's ego requires nothing less.

I try to use the ironic tag very, very sparingly. However, when I saw this story this morning, no other tag would suffice for it.
