That's an unfortunate way of phrasing it.

I went to grade school with his daughter. Never thought I'd be linked to a Fark article through her.

That's a rather stupid joke. I doubt most politicians are that readily available to drop everything they're doing and talk with the local news.

WFern: That's a rather stupid joke. I doubt most politicians are that readily available to drop everything they're doing and talk with the local news every time they call.

Fixed before someone whines.

The councilman for the city¹s oldest and largest ward will be decided Dec.
1. In 2005, Parks, beat Trevillyan, a water utility employee, in a runoff election by fewer than 100 votes. On Tuesday, Trevillyan garnered 462 votes, Parks, 403. and Mark Rocha, 377. No one had more than 50 percent of the vote, prompting the run off.

Parks, 73, of 1929 Buffalo Road, fended off campaign criticism that he has lost touch with his constituents. He could not be reached for comment Tuesday.

Trevillyan, who has promised quarterly town hall meeting to air residents¹ concerns if elected, said he looks forward to the rematch.

Comma Police *flashes badge* I'm gonna have to cite you for those paragraphs.
