That's good for T.O., he was starting to think he was the reason he sucks.

I dont know why. I say let Fitzpatrick get a chance again, hes looked alright.

WTF Indeed: That's good for T.O., he was starting to think he was the reason he sucks.

I'll admit to not following the Bills, but just from watching the Saints/Bills game I noticed it's really not TO's fault.

He was thrown to a total of 4 times that game. One was a dropped pass he should have caught and the other 3 were just bad throws.

If you are gonna have a man like TO on the team, you gotta use him more then a few times a game.

FTFY. Centers don't play defense.

Great, Trents back, that should help. Hey Titans, welcome to 2-8! Courtesy of the Buffalo Bills. Sucks being a Bills fan. 10 damn years no playoffs.

So the Bills decided to dump their entire offensive line and replace it with scrubs? I didn't know Cerrato was moonlighting in Buffalo. Hey guys, just do what we do. Blame the QB and the head coach. At the end of the season you'll get a new head coach and a new QB. Then after a few more years of sucking you can do it all over again. See this method takes the blame off the front office where it belongs.

The Bills organization will not succeed until Ralph Wilson sells the team or dies. It's no accident that the team has been so bad for so long; that's why Mike Mularkey left - he didn't like the way the organization was run. Judging by the past decade, he wasn't wrong in leaving.

I was at Sunday's Bills/Titans game. The weather was really beautiful. The cheerleaders looked pretty good from 14 rows up. Traffic getting away from the stadium was probably the best I've seen it. Dinner at The Cheesecake Factory turned out pretty well too. The Walden Galleria is a much nicer mall than Buffalo deserves.

Oh, the game. Yeah, the Bills suck so hard they even suck at losing. Their offense was terrible, the defense was worse, and during the hours-long postgame show on a local AM radio station, people waited on hold for more than 45 minutes to add their $0.02 that the Bills suck from head to toe. Horrible.

If you are going to bash Buffalo, at least get your facts straight, stupid. The Bills played the TEXANS, not the TITANS. How am I supposed to respect your criticism when you are too dumb to know who the Bills' opponent was?

If Jerry Rice in his prime were on the current Bills roster, he wouldn't be in the Hall of Fame and he certainly wouldn't have the stats he does.

T.O. may drop balls, except those of his boyfriend, but he's obviously a talented player. He's basically 2nd in every major receiving category, you can't be BAD and do that.

He just needs a QB.

this is half right. Sure he'd be better with a great QB but i still think hes near his end. Fading out. No rings to show for it. and all because of his big farking mouth.

Well yeah, every player (except Purple Jeebus) fades into 3rd stringness, but T.O. still has a lot left, that dude is in awesome shape. It's a shame he's on such a shiatty team, but his actions have come back to bite him in the ass.

Oh my stars and garters. Wow, you really showed me up with your superior intellect and your clever 'eat a bag of dicks' urban slang acronym. Now everyone online will know of your cunning wit.

While it's true I got the Bills' opponent wrong, in my own defense can I not be forgiven for not paying any attention to the game after a certain point and in fact trying to forget all about it?

I'm only gonna say this once:

Adrian is Purple Jesus

Brett Favre is an old man playing out of his mind for whatever reason. He is NOT the savior, and he is NOT the face of the franchise. Adrian Peterson will still be in Minneapolis long after Favre is gone, and ten years from now people will still be talking about AD - not that one time Brett Favre joined the Vikings and they won 7 of 8 before he torpedoed the last half of the season. So there.

Not to piss in your cheerios or anything, but I think you're crazy if you believe Peterson is going to last another 10 years, especially with the way he runs. He's exciting to watch, but his style doesn't exactly scream "longevity."

I didn't say he'd be playing in ten years. No running back plays for 13 years.

Also, can't really hate on the defense when they did everything that was asked of them until the offense left them on the field for 40 plays in the 2nd half.

Are you seriously hating on Adrian Peterson? If he keeps his pace, this guy is going to be the best runningback ever. And most NFL teams spell their RB's on certain downs so i dont know why that bothers you. Ill agree that with his upright style of running, I thought he'd be getting injured a lot. But he's been doing really well and showing no signs of slowing down.

An offensive line and defense wouldn't hurt either.

How sad is it, that this guy, with all his talent, couldnt keep a lid on his BS long enough to win a title. He is not, and will never be a champion. And its kind of ridiculous, considering the multiple chances he had, which HE BLEW. Hes got to be one of the most dissapointing talents ive ever seen.

What "pace" are you talking about? I don't know of any career pace he's on that's better than even his contemporary RBs. This year alone, he's not on pace to lead in yards, YPC, or TDs. He's only led the league in rushing once, and DeAngelo had a higher YPC than him that year.

He is really fun to watch, but you exaggerate way too much. Franchise RBs in their prime, and especially RBs you think could be the "greatest ever", don't come off the field as much as he does. It's because he can't pass-block very well, and he isn't the best pass-catcher (though he's working on improving there). He fumbles way too much. Until he fixes those things, he shouldn't even be mentioned as the best RB in the league, let alone all time.

He is definitely a "highlight" RB, he makes some jaw-dropping plays. I don't hate on him at all. But the "BEST EVAR!!11" is laughable. Stephen Jackson and Deangelo are having seasons on par with his, and that's without the supporting cast that AP has. That line, especially since they got Hutchinson, is silly. I can't count how many times AP gets to the 2nd level before he is even touched. Then I see guys like LT and Portis get hit by 3 people before they even get to the LOS. Blocking has a lot to do with RB performance. It's not a coincidence that as soon as Hutch went from SEA to MINN, SEA's ypc drastically dropped, and MINN's drastically jumped. AP's in a great situation and is a great runner. But he's not close to the best RB ever, just judging from his first 2 1/2 years.

I've said it before. Edwards isn't a bad quarterback. He's overly conservative with his pass selection (which is a shame considering he's got TO and Evans to throw to), but he's smart and doesn't make too many dumb plays. The Bill's offensive line is in fact terrible. They can't pass block, they can't run block and they have more penalties than anyone else in the league. It's hard to be a good quarterback when you constantly have to worry about getting knocked out.

Edwards is far better than Fitzpatrick. The only reason that guy isn't throwing five interceptions a game is because most of his passes are too terrible to intercept.

I'm not expecting the Bills to even be decent this year, but some good has come out of this year. Fred Jackson and Jairus Byrd have both played way beyond expectations, and the defense doesn't let up too many points until the 4th quarter (at which point they've been on the field for at least 30 minutes). I know it's not a good year, but it's the best the Bills have had in a while (discounting the beginning of last year. Damn football gods tempting me.)

Zombie Neurosurgeon: Fred Jackson [snip] played way beyond expectations

Indeed, which makes it all the more confusing that he's basically only returning kicks now. He rolled when Lynch was suspended.... I would have thought they'd work some kind of RBBC situation to great effect like just about every other team in the league... smash, dash, and tash, and from last year, earth, wind and fire, etc etc....

and I agree the Bills D is better than many think. But of course some of that could be because the Bills are rarely leading late in the game. great secondary.

/Has a ancient hatred for the Bills because I've been a Dolphin fan for decades, but I agree, by no means are they devoid of real talent, hope, etc.... cheers

Uzzah: /Pizza Plant and shopping on the Elmwood Strip, FTW.

Great beer selection. Mozzadoro pizza's good, too.

The Bills have good skill players but the lines are atrocious. If both sides of the ball were addressed properly, we wouldn't be looking at a team who have to play WAY above their heads to reach 7-9.

Also, Trent is not the answer. Neither is Fitzpatrick, but at least he isn't shellshocked... Yet.

I wonder how much better Edwards will do than this Fitzpatrick kid.

Ya know, there is a lot of credit to the idea of a QB suffering because his o-line not functioning correctly. But then I look at a QB like Aaron Rodgers who puts up sick numbers even though he's been sacked 31 farking times.

Edwards isn't exactly a rookie so you have to wonder if he's simply not playing with the weapons he has. I mean Evans, T.O., Jackson and Lynch and even with a terrible O Line you should have more points than the Bills do this season. If we're talking about guys like Stafford, yea they're a lil new at this NFL thing so they can be exucsed. But Edwards has been to this rodeo and needs to start stepping up with what he's got. That's what a good QB does.
