I feel there's more to Kate's acting than her willingness to get her swinging pink milk churns out in every movie. She should also be applauded for her attention to detail in the period drama 'Jude' where she displayed a pubic thatch like a golfer's divot (there were no Brazilians in those days of course). I have it on good authority that the fragrant Kate was not sporting a merkin, but took the trouble to grow the hairy coont rug for that extra touch of realism.

I think it's rather funny of the two films she did last year, she won the Oscar for the weaker role, but then again, it was a Holocaust movie.

coco ebert: She's a good actress but she puts me off whenever I see her in interviews. She seems horribly self-conscious, though trying hard not to seem so. When she speaks it sounds like she mulls over every single word to make sure it comes out just so.

I'd rather that than the common celebrity practice of not thinking at all before opening their mouth in a public venue.
