I really don't get about the problem with gays getting married according to the ones against. I see nothing wrong with gays getting married at all. The opposition seems to have this excuse where it's against federal law for gays to marry because of DOMA, considering some of these people are campaigning for the government to get off of their backs, whether it is state or federal for other purposes.

I hope the people who are dissent from gay couples should at least know how a lot of them live, because I have a feeling that they are gonna be surprised how many gays live their lives. As NORMAL people.

There's a subculture that's openly gay that's pretty much what you've described, but they're not really the types to go out and get hitched and try to raise a kid. I was talking with a friend the other day about equality in general. We came to the conclusion that true equality does not come with tolerance, acceptance or condoning a behavior, race, gender, etc. It comes with the same general apathy you have towards anything that isn't a threat.
