mmm... love that new thread smell.

Here's a question, do you still get to be dressed in the clubhouse or warm the bench if you're on the DL?

/Melky deactivated for Pena... it'd suck if he didn't get to celebrate w/ the rest!

Err.

GO YANKEES!

And Lee has become the last hope. He's gotta be tired at this point though.

I don't know, but if the Phil's aren't careful he'll steal 3rd.

My Facebook status as of 2 minutes ago:

Game 5. I don't think Burnett is in Lee's class. Yanks should win anyway. Rivera MVP.

Okay then, a proposition for a Monday night:

Baseball's position in the public consciousness over the past decade-plus has slipped because every memorable post-season moment has Joe Buck and Tim McCarver talking over it.

Discuss.

2009-11-02 08:00:53 PM
26 more like that, please, Cliff.

Please.

I'm begging.

Could you imagine Gus Johnson calling games? For us Philly fans hearing him call Stair's homerun would have been awesome. For the Yanks guys, hearing him last night would have been fun.

Yeah that kiddydynamite character was still going on in the Game 3 thread today that A-Rod's camera shot was a double.

Yes, yes he did.

And while I love Donnie Baseball, comparing him to Jeter, nevermind Ruth & Gehrig, is laughable.

THe ground ruls are the ancient baseball scriptures written long ago to ensure excuses for those big bad meanie yankee victories.

Huge run right there. Lee doesn't look as sharp as he has in the past few games, but every run counts against his caliber
