Meh. This is the Colts MO. Every year they streak to a long unbeaten record. I'd much prefer they win the Superbowl than break more records. So would they, I'd bet.

My 5-3 Texans go into Indy this week. If we can escape with a win, then we take care of the Titans Monday night after the bye week, we would be 7-3. Then the Colts come to town. Would the 8-1 (or 9-1) Colts at the 7-3 Texans get our game moved to the flex spot, supplanting Pit at Bal?

This is a very losable game for the Colts...looking ahead to the Pats the next week, and facing a very capable Houston team....which the Colts might take for granted considering their record against them...you could win this one.

Good for Indy's rookie coach going 7-0 so far. Of course that's because he's got the smartest quarterback in the game. The Colts offense doesn't really need help from the sidelines.

The Texans have a pretty good chance of taking at least one of them. Watching the game, they showed a graph of Houston's pass and rush defense over the season. After the first 3 or 4 games, their defense really got much better.

/Colts are good, but I'd love to see the Texans take one up there.

16-0 only counts when you do it in one season. Still impressive, but here the Colts had a nice bye week known as the off season to reload, get healthy, get new talent, coach said talent and so on and so forth. When you can winubianmes in 17 weeks that's a real record. 16 games over two seasons is the sign of a good team, but not mind blowing.

The Colts looked very beatable against a rather mediocre 49ers team this week. I don't think those are the bong hits talking. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Texans give them all they can handle this week.

I doubt Peyton Manning called the halfback pass that scored their only touchdown.

Also, any offense that relies exclusively on one person is prone to a let down at the wrong time. They need more guidance from the sideline now that Peyton Manning is nearly unstoppable, than they did when he was simply great. Otherwise, he won't recognize when he's not going to be able to do it alone.

16-0 even in one season doesn't matter if you can't finish the job at the Superbowl. Just didn't want to think you were implying that.

I'm a Colts fan, and for the last couple years, the Texans have been the division opponent that has made me the most nervous. However, I don't dislike the Texans, and I would love to see them get a wildcard spot.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts fall to the Texans this week, after the way they played the 49ers. The Texans can put up some points on you, and they are familiar with the Colts defense. If the game was at the old Hoosier dome, that would definitely give the Colts the edge, but Lucas Oil stadium eliminates what was once a great home-field advantage. If the Colts do win this one, they'll definitely drop the next one against the Texans in Houston.

I am among those who would love to see the Texans roll Indy on Sunday, but, as a Houstonian, I know better than to get my hopes up. First, we've beaten the Colts ONCE in the history of our franchise, getting two shots a year to do so. Second, Owen Daniels is out for the game, season, forever. Do you really think that Dreesen will be as productive? Or that James "Thor" Casey will fill the void?

The Texans are playing good football right now, but I sincerely doubt that they're capable of taking out an undefeated Peyton Manning team. Prove me wrong.

I don't think it is so much overrating the Texans as it is underrating the Colts. They looked pretty sloppy in the game this weekend.

Houston and Indianapolis have now both played the 49ers, and have both won a close victory. I don't see how you can go far above the 3 point home favorites considering their recent success over the exact same team.

I'd give Indy the usual 3 point home advantage, but that's about it.

Treygreen13: I'd give Indy the usual 3 point home advantage, but that's about it.

I don't see how this won't be a Colts -6.5 at the very minimum. I'll still take them to cover, division game or not.

A sloppy game by the Colts against the 49ers only means they'll come out stronger in their next game. Schaub will be better too, but the Texans are the most overrated team in the NFL in my opinion. They're a "sleeper" team every year and go something around 8-8.

I agree in principle, but with the small exception that I always pick them to get that card spot and they never do. I did again this year and they might redeem me. You're right though. Seems like since Andre got there, and Carr left they get sleeper status every year and start horribly, finish strong, miss by 1 or 2 games and make people think they'll start where they left off when next season starts.

/Slaton has not been kind to my fantasy season thus far. He needs to step it up.

3. NFC East (as a whole)
