nice tackle!

2009-11-01 09:01:15 AM
Epic doesn't quite cover it.

2009-11-01 09:11:28 AM
Well I was not expecting that. lol

2009-11-01 09:21:35 AM
For a minute there I thought it might be a clip of our football team. I don't think anyone has tackled our own player, so I guess it's not as bad as I thought.

2009-11-01 09:39:41 AM
The Redskins are scheduled to do that next week.

2009-11-01 10:06:19 AM
That was awesome. Thanks, Subby.

2009-11-01 10:09:17 AM
That tackler has since received offers from the Raiders, Browns, Redskins, Buccaneers, and Lions.

2009-11-01 10:41:03 AM
I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was trying to throw a block against the blue guy on the other side of the runner. He missed, obviously.

2009-11-01 11:13:19 AM
His "Oh fark" roll onto his back at the end was beautiful.

2009-11-01 11:14:17 AM
Instinct beats thought every time.

2009-11-01 11:18:07 AM
I especially like the opposing team mate pointing at the last second of the clip. You know there was a huge HA HA !! added to that finger point.

1st round draft pick for the Lions next year.

And then accidentally wrapped him up. We've all made mistakes like that before.

Is this a clip of the Michigan Defence? 'cuz... well, our defence has been nothing but FAIL for a month now, creampuff game notwithstanding.

*checks link*

... at least he tackled someone.

Is it just me or have this year's crop of "Worst Football play ever" vids been especially hilarious?

2009-11-01 11:21:57 AM
Not as bad as some of the plays I've seen in NFL games.

*cough*Bills season opener*cough*

Yeah... even if it was a block it would have been the most obvious hold in history and resulted in the loss of all the return yards plus half the distance to the goal line. In other words, he was intentionally tackling someone running towards his goal line. Hell, even if the other team is doing that let them.

He didn't miss. The damn return man got in the way of his block and made him look bad!

I don't care who you are, that's funny.

I'm actually getting to the point that I no longer hate Michigan. Instead I feel pity. I wonder if before next season starts they will be ranked or if the people who make the polls will finally realize, "Wait, Michigan sucks."

I do still hate OSU though, and will bet you can agree with me on that. Come on, jump on the Hawkeye bandwagon. It's fun up here. 9-0.

Not to mention that, according to the Internetz, the refs are helping Iowa win games, so I'd imagine that the streak will carry on for a while what with all of their help.

I'm always on the Big 10 bandwagon. (Though I don't acknowledge the Buckeyes until it's a bowl game.) So yeah, I'm all over that Iowa team, and I'd love to see them in the BCS championship and actually come to play, unlike a certain team from the state of Ohio.

///At least Iowa is making the Big 10 look decent right now. Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Illinois... oi.

2009-11-01 11:38:58 AM
Not saying it wasn't stupid but why wasn't one team wearing away jerseys?

2009-11-01 11:39:07 AM
I think Penn State is looking alright. I really don't think Iowa would stand a chance with them at this point in the season. It was much better that they played each other early on.

2009-11-01 11:43:30 AM
It's Las Vegas. Probably had money on the game.

2009-11-01 12:05:01 PM
He is gonna have to absorb such a rash of shiat during the game review tape session it won't be funny. Hope his team won.

2009-11-01 12:10:54 PM
LOL, I had 2 watch it twice before I saw it. So that's a 2fer in the 'Fail' department, amirite?

2009-11-01 12:19:28 PM
I miss the XFL.

This. The only difference is pants color? I would have been confused out there too.

Nevermind, they are different colors upon 2nd viewing. But still, light and dark jerseys! It makes it so much easier!

Yeah, but you would think that he might remember that he is defending.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coaches sending link to all defensive players.

I think that guy had a few bucks on the outcome of the game.

vygramul: The Redskins are scheduled to do that next week.

bwhahahahahahahah ahhhh.... at some point it will stop being funny and start being sad.... Today is not that day.

Earguy: I think that guy had a few bucks on the outcome of the game.

BS that dude was heartbroken when he realized how stupid a play he just made. Too bad they cut off the taunting just before it started.

2009-11-01 01:23:58 PM
Is it streaming video of Lions/Rams?

2009-11-01 01:32:15 PM
Dang. I was sure it was going to be the Lions. Or the Rams. Or the Bucs. Or the Chiefs. Or the Titans. I guess I wasn't really that sure after all...

2009-11-01 01:33:35 PM
The words dip and shiat come to mind.

2009-11-01 01:50:14 PM
I was expecting the interception and safety I just saw in the Lions/Rams game.

this is why you where different colored jerseys during scrimmage games.

PresentCompanyExcluded: this is why you where different colored jerseys during scrimmage games.

Wait...this guy knows his team is receiving the kick....the guy with the ball is running the correct direction to score a point for HIS team....what could make this guy think 'someone from the other team has the ball, I need to tackle him'?

2009-11-01 03:34:10 PM
Perhaps this guy isn't terribly bright and for a split moment he thought he was playing in a practice game against his own teammates.

2009-11-01 03:34:11 PM
At first I thought I missed something and the runner was going the wrong way and teammate had to stop him. Alas no.

mferris: Perhaps this guy isn't terribly bright and for a split moment he thought he was playing in a practice game against his own teammates.

That's what I was thinking ... these guys play their teammates a few days a week. Friday night comes along, and in the moment you brain fart and take down someone on your own team.

No matter what excuse there is, there's no living that down. Poor kid probably would have to transfer to another school system in another country to escape that embarrassment.

2009-11-01 04:22:49 PM
I think that's actually Leon Lett's kid.

2009-11-01 05:47:23 PM
vygramul: The Redskins are scheduled to do that next week.

That would be beneficial for the skins, since Randle El runs backwards more than he gains yards.

2009-11-01 06:23:49 PM
I was gonna say nothing could be worse than the team I faced in high school that managed to punt the ball backwards, but I was wrong. That may be the funniest play I'll ever see.
