Seems like because the "bad guys" had their faces shrouded in black. Their mascot's face had a red shroud and that's probably why they went with shrouds in the first place, but some people just aren't happy unless their panties are in a bunch.

Pretty soon, anybody white not acting white is going to be offending somebody for acting like them. I think I'll get on the bandwagon early by saying any white male not acting exactly like a white male is offending me by acting too much like a white woman.

Now, both school leaders are planning to have joint student council meetings to teach students and teachers something about sensitivity, tolerance and diversity from the incident.

Are they going to discuss Brother Martin's use of Crusaders as a mascot? Cos' from a certain perspective that could seem insensitive. Eh... fark it... that would only offend those middle eastern types and they don't count.

I live right near Brother Martin. There were both white and black students (the two consist of about 95% of the school) who constructed and performed the skit. None of the black students at Brother Martin felt it was racist and the only person arrested in the skit was black!

The students don't give a shiat.

Needs moar information. What are these "shrouds" the people in the skit were wearing? What little info TFA contains shows that these things clearly weren't a perfect match for Klan uniforms, but there isn't enough to tell exactly what they looked like; there could still have been some resemblance, I guess.
