Peter Fonda is still alive/not in prison?

FTFA:Fonda tells Extra, "We did not take LSD, no matter what the rumours say. You can't make a movie when you're ripped like that."

Maybe not then. But you can't get good acid anymore.

I'd be more shocked if Fonda and Hopper didn't do a variety of multicolored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers, and fark a bunch of loose '60s women while riding down Route 66.

In fact, I demand that become the legend behind this story.

"Easy Rider" was made with Monkees money.

Bhasayate: These guys were surely on drugs when they did this.

Yup. By the second season of the show the guys had a small dark room on the set where they just hung out and got high. They installed a special lighting signal in the room so they would know who was needed on set.

Not a big surprise, but you might be pleasantly surprised to find out that Dennis still smokes. A friend of mine saw him smoking a joint with the owner of the Green House in Amsterdam 6 or 7 years ago.

Yes, it was. Mid-'70s, if not earlier. I remember one of my Lutheran High School teachers biatching about it back then, holding it up as an example of how evil popular culture could be.

Speaking of Peter Fonda....

I just saw a movie Fonda directed in '73 called "Idaho Transfer". Despite being a low-budget b-grade sci-fi film set and shot in Idaho.....it's actually really good.

/Yes, Peter Fonda directed a bad sci-fi film.
//Maybe it was all the ganja?

peter fonda was pretty good in his small part in the new Boondock Saints movie.

The absolute worst movie EVER was a Peter Fonda flick called Hawkin's Breed. It was basically just him riding around on a horse with some music playing. I'm not sure how it ended though, because I turned it off after about 20 minutes.

I've always thought it would be funny to gift it to somebody and rave about how much they are going to love it.
