I'm going to say something. No, he did not have a Thriller movie in the works. The guy talked about doing an awful lot of shiat and never did almost any of it. Lots of writers, directors and actors have talked about conversations with Michael or his people over the years. Michael or his people having an idea doesn't mean there was ever a chance of anything happening.

The only reason he even got off his ass for the concert series that became the new movie is because his lenders made him. No way was he then going to do all the work involved in a major movie.
