By saying 'Hardcore Sucks' my only intention was to get across the point that I think Hardcore (the guy-screaming-artlessly-into-a-mic-over-simplistic-and-boring-'melodies' type. Which, today at least, seems to be referred to as simply 'Hardcore') sucks. Was it classy to say that? Hell no! I have real life to be classy in.

I am blunt in 'IMHO' threads. Art is subjective and I am a blunt person. Everything someone says with regards to art should be taken as with a 'IMHO' in front of it.

Crossover is the shiat though. Bands like DRI, The Accused, Devo, Eddie Cochran(when he was with The Stooges), Iggy Valence, The Heaven Seventeen Eleventies, Nut Fight.

Those guys really set the stage for modern Pumethardrapacrossemo.

/no really, when I was a kid, hardcore was any music a dirty punk and a slayer hippie could agree on(MOD, SOD, The Accused, DRI, Suicidal. Really any punk that involved alternate picking).
