I think the best part is Florence Henderson's brilliant musical interpretation piece in video #5.

This is good cheese, 'mitter.

How many years before everyone in that show is dead?

Wow. Pinky Tuscadero. Gotta respect a woman who took a one-time guest shot on "Happy Days" and turned it into...well...nothing.

That is so full of WIN.

Thanks Subby. Havent seen that since it originally aired. I wish it would have stayed that way.

Those were some powerful drugs they forced everyone to take in the 1970s.

That was when Destroyer came out. That album was the first rock and roll anything that I owned.

I still have it.
On vinyl.
It will be passed down to my son when he's old enough to handle the classics.

I was in Full - Kiss - ARMY mode back then... 3rd grade. Still remember this like it was yesterday.

Still have your lunch box?

I remember sitting in front of the ol' TV with the handy visegrip attachment for channel changing waiting for KISS. Seems just like 30 years ago or so.

Wow. Witchiepoo and The Wicked Witch of the West together, as sisters, on a TV show.

How surreal.

What a glorious piece of cheese you found, subby!

Ace looked strange playing an Explorer. Not the same without the three pickup Les Paul. Oh well, no guitar solo, so I guess it doesn't matter much anyway.

Dancin_In_Anson "Still have your lunch box?"

I sure do Brother. Two of 'em.

PumpUpDaFark "Still have your love gun?"

The paper one, that was included in the album? Yes.

That whole Kiss-ain't-metal enough phase during the early to mid 80s NWoBHM thing... got rid of a LOT of stuff.

I'm not watching a video of any no-talent created-star-stature musical act with too much make-up.

Or Pinky Tuscadero, either.

Outstanding. That was just a little after my time (I was in 7th grade in 76).

That video is the 70's in microcosm. This is the coolest uncool thing ever.

/yes, I did see it in 1976.

it was fun in 1976, and its still fun.

kiss still wins

I was going to say that I thought Suzi Quatro was Pinky Tuscadero, but I was wrong.
She was Leather Tuscadero.
I had some very serious hots for Suzi when I was a teenager....

Was the weed really strong enough for this way back then?

Came here to say that. She really belted that one out of the park, I do say. Was it the coke, or the speed, you wonder?

Bloodcorn: Was the weed really strong enough for this way back then?

Back then, weed was the medium in which you rolled your real drugs to smoke 'em.

BasqueBastard: Paul Lynde sounds suspiciously like Roger

Seth Macfarland has said that he based Roger's voice on Paul Lynde. Most younger viewers have no idea who Paul Lynde was, until now of course.

I wondered if I'd be the only person to notice this. Very strange indeed.
