My wife used to work for EI (employment Insurance)in downtown Toronto, once this old Yugoslavian guy got pissed off because his benefits got cut-off, so came into the office with a loaded double barrel.
It actually ended quite well, the office manager walked up to him and she started yelling at him and calling him stupid and he dropped the gun and then cops grabbed him.
She was either brave or stupid.

9 Americans = 9 Canadians

/But one of the Canadians is missing two fingers.

Came for the "Ha ha, Americans are gun toting retards", left disappointed because rumor has it that Edmonton might be in Canada.

Them Canucks spell stuff weird. Like they use a "u" in color (colour) and other stuff.

Well, it is the worker's comp office after all. The guy may have a point.

My roommate works at that building. They have a blue light in the lobby which goes off if there's an 'altercation' upstairs. They should probably get a metal detector instead.

I don't understand why people think that Canadians don't own guns. When I was growing up, EVERYONE had a gun. Of course, they were just the standard hunting rifles and shot-guns.

Why do so many nutters wear camo jackets in city shootings? I seem to remember Michael Ryan going round Hungerford in full Army surplus get up. Hungerford's never seen a tree.

I thought guns were illegal in Canada? This situation should be impossible.

Maybe they should ditch the metal detector for a mental detector

Why the hell would I trade a pack of smokes and a couple bottles of water for a hostage?

If I need a hostage, I'll just grab one off of the street.

Gives a whole new meaning to "blue light special." Is the WCB a K-Mart subsidiary?

The interview rooms are designed in such a way as to make it very hard to lunge across the table and strangle the staff. Very good table positioning.

Consists in the necessity
Of living with the consequences
