cameroncrazy1984: Seriously, this guy is awkward at everything.

He follows the "I'm going to talk way too much to fill the air as the play-by-play man as if I'm doing a radio broadcast, which I'm not, but I like to hear myself talk even when I sound like a douche, but at least it keeps McCarver quiet for a little" model.

Hah... nice one. Yep, here it is: Link (new window)

Yeah, but can you find that for the Marlins?

Apparently they only make them for 13 teams; I'd say it was only the cold-weather teams, but the Dodgers are on there:

I took a leak with him once. He was giving a speech, and though security closed off the entire restroom for him, and I walked in, Rudy said it was OK. I thanked him for coming to the function, he was gracious, we didn't shake hands.

A-rod you dick.

2009-10-16 09:43:16 PM
WTF AROD?

2009-10-16 09:43:44 PM
Did that shiat to impress Kate.

dammit, A-Rod

AMAZING play!

I guess stop signs are for mere mortals....

But I'm not sure there was ever a tag there.

2009-10-16 09:44:11 PM
Was that "stop sign" given by the same guy that blew the infield pop-up?

2009-10-16 09:44:13 PM
Nevermind that he was never tagged...

2009-10-16 09:44:41 PM
Nice block to save a run, let's go Angels!

/late to the party

Just when you think A-Rod can't get any douchier.

2009-10-16 09:45:06 PM
ThatGuyGreg: Nevermind that he was never tagged...

Well, he never actually touched the plate, either though....

2009-10-16 09:45:19 PM
Is it just me, or does anyone else see the correlation that since 1961, the Yankees have won the World Series only when Democrats are in the White House?

And on top of that, the Yankees won 3 WS titles in the Eisenhower Administration, and 3 WS titles in the Harding-Coolidge-Hoover years.

2009-10-16 09:45:26 PM
Hey, at least A-Rod actually bashed into the guy. 98% of players just do the slow down tip toe shiat when the ball beats them to the plate.

He does after the roll over Mathis he specifically does.

My bad, then. Didn't see it till they replayed it.

Ya know, if not for a very good play by Mathis, we would be praising A-Rod's hustle

What game are you watching?

2009-10-16 09:49:04 PM
That "freeze cam" gimmick sucks because it did not detail the section of the frame we need to see.

2009-10-16 09:49:53 PM
Even a minus arm comes up with a play eventually!

2009-10-16 09:49:54 PM
Damon took the long way around just for the highlight.

I think this is one of those instances where your eyes see one thing, but your preconceived notions see another.

/nice play by Damon

Damon giving me Luis Polonia flashbacks.

Don't speak too soon.

Glad to see the Umps are back in form.

What a horseshiat call.

2009-10-16 09:51:02 PM
Wow, Teixiera came off the bag and that's an out? Really?

2009-10-16 09:51:35 PM
I think he may have barely held the base there. Damn close.

2009-10-16 09:51:36 PM
Looked to me like the ball was caught while he had his toe on the bag, then lifted off. I say good call.

2009-10-16 09:51:45 PM
cameroncrazy1984: Wow, Teixiera came off the bag and that's an out? Really?

Ball was in the mitt before his foot came off. I hate the farking Yankees but he was clearly out.

I say gold glove.

2009-10-16 09:52:11 PM
It's a touchdown as soon as it crosses the plane

It's an out the moment he has the ball and is touching the bag.

2009-10-16 09:52:14 PM
Too bad, tee hee.

2009-10-16 09:52:15 PM
Fox, your freeze cam is worse than full speed

2009-10-16 09:52:22 PM
cameroncrazy1984: Wow, Teixiera came off the bag and that's an out? Really?

C'mon... look at the angles of the umps. There's no chance, given how little his foot left the bag that they'd be able to see that.

/Lucky call for the yanks.

Dude. You hate everyone that isn't the Red Wings. Shut up.
