Christ, that's horrific. Like something out of a Saw movie. Did the media not report it at all or just whitewash those gruesome details? (I could certainly understand the latter.)

the local media reported it at first, with very little details. when i first heard the story i just assumed it was a drug deal gone bad. turns out it was totally random. more details of their captivity, rapings, torture, etc... came out over time.

as far as i know the story hasn't been covered much outside of our area. none of my friends outside of tennessee have heard of this. i can understand not reporting on every single murder, rape, etc... but this was pretty bad. i'm sure the media has their reasons, but it seems like an injustice to the families of the victims that this didn't get more attention than it did.

I never heard about those killings until this video. People have a right to be outraged. Where are Sharpton and Jackson here? I might have an ounce of respect for those two if either one had stepped up here and said, we'd be there if the situation was reversed. Pretty farked up story.
