What's that? We focused entirely on Bush, nothing but Bush, and Bush Bush Bush, when it came to opinions and approval ratings but now that Obama is in office the public opinion of the opposing party not in power is suddenly relevant?

As stated: You will know how well Obama is doing by how much they talk about Republicans.

and why would any sane person take a look at the republicans? They harp on socialistic programs while driving to the Social Security office to collect their checks, their number one climate specialists is a Senator from Oklahoma whose most proud achievement is that none of his family members have teh ghey... yet. In their feeble minds the dictionary and the Bible have a liberal bias and their answer to every problem we have is war, tax cuts, and baby Jeebus.

Do not want.

I actually don't mind the Peyton Manning commercials that much.

Then again, I don't see them very often.

Amazing, isn't it?

You guys got slaughtered in the last election and are about to be boned in the ass this time - and you still can't figure out that your shiat stinks to high heaven.

I'm pretty sure that when the Democrats began bragging about their renewed strength and about retaking the House and Senate, polling firms started to test their rhetoric against reality.

Turns out the Democrats made the grade. Will Republicans? Not if this poll is any indication.

Republicans are hoping and harping about a midterm Democratic loss of seats and keep citing 1994. But in1994 at least they had the Contract with America, a defined set of principles they could present in suits and important sounding terms.

Now all they have is the Party of No label attached to them with Glenn Beck and teabaggers as the spokesmen speaking in WHARRGARBL.

Democrats could lose some of the toughest seats, but a take over is unlikely.

Looks like Obama is back up to 56% approval rating according to Gallup after the 'summer of hell'.

Just for a point of reference, 56% is halfway between the 54% approval rating Clinton had when he demolished Dole by 220 electoral votes and the 58% approval rating Reagan had in 1984 when he won 49 states.

Keep up the good work Republicans. You really got him on the ropes, and I think throwig a frothing at the mouth, vitriolic, hissy fit when America's elected President wins a Nobel Prize is a continued step in the right direction towards winning back the respect of the American people. And to think, you only have a mere 90 or so electoral votes to make up.

Dihydrogen monoxide killed my father and raped my mother. No really, the coroner's report found it in my dad's lungs and the rape kit detected large quantities of it in my mom's yinyang.

The GOP doesn't seem bothered by the fact that the list of swing states now includes North Carolina, Virginia, Colorado and Indiana.

They should be worries, but they seem to prefer the strategy of sticking their fingers in their ears and chanting "la la la socialist i can't hear you" over and over.

I have heard this stupid talking point by many republicans and I am almost thirty years old and making 5 times then I did in when I was 22 and I will still never participate with the republican party till they get rid of 98% of its members.

It's more than taxes really. Let's face it, the GOP is a bunch of goddamn hypocrites first and foremost. First they want to convince us they're for "smaller government." Oh suuuure they are, especially since they've let the Christian Dominionists run amok. They care nothing about individuality or getting government out of your life. They're anti-logic and pro Bible thumper.

Screw you, Subby, I think those Manning commercials are farking hilarious. Especially the "Inspiring Pep Talks with Peyton Manning." But the one he did with Eli taking the tour of ESPN, the new Sony ones with Justin Timberlake, the Oreo Double Stuffs, and even the direct TV ones... All freaking funny.

Yeah, he can't act worth a shiat. But the fact that he is able to make so much fun of himself gets him an A in my book.
