.9 Subby? One tenth the diameter of a 9mm? Really?

JesseL: .9 Subby? One tenth the diameter of a 9mm? Really?

It was a flechette round.

2009-09-13 12:30:33 AM
At least it wasn't a .0045.

2009-09-13 12:34:04 AM
.9mm would be about the diameter of a paper staple, but I'm guessing.

2009-09-13 12:36:57 AM
It was a squirt gun.

2009-09-13 12:39:43 AM
Police think it was a .45 caliber or 9 millimeter.

The fact that the cops, who farking carry guns, can't tell scares the hell out of me.

/What the hell is wrong with South Carolina?

Hell, it was loaded. Can't you just look at the bottom of a shell casing?

The guy who got the McFirearm from the drive thru gave it to the people who followed him, not to the cops. They only have a description from the guy which was probably just "It was a handgun."

Ah, serves me right for not finishing the article. I got to that part and my head asploded.

Used to be A Mickey Ds Manager. I took over a store in a town and the day after I took over the Police came for a visit. The assistant manager was selling Powdered coke out of drive thru!
So yes this happens

I'm guessing that they narrowed it down to a specific type, and just aren't sure on the chambering, but picked between the two most common.

Playboy Bunny Fail

so it could have been a .38 or a .22 also, but it sure as fark wasn't a .9 mm

2009-09-13 02:13:00 AM
Too bad he couldn't outrun the dudes who were supposed to get it. The gun and the weed were way more valuable than the burgers he paid for.

Wait a second here. FTFA: "Police haven't made any arrests in the case."

What about the McDonald's employee who handed off the bag? He's too difficult to find?

Epsilon: What about the McDonald's employee who handed off the bag? He's too difficult to find?

This guy is smooth. Let's look at the facts:
A)He was smart enough to give some Mickey-D's food with the weed and gun. So he had a front for his drug/firearms operation.

B)He was so smooth about it, he didn't even notice that it was neither the correct car nor the correct recipients of said contraband.

C)Smooth criminals like him don't think about that stuff. They got those lightening reflexes and don't sit around thinking. They act.

D)So obviously the cops are never gonna catch this kingpin. He's like the Tony Soprano of McDonald's.

Also, FTA: One of them jumped out of the car and demanded that he give them the bags. He did that. This is Pulitzer-Prize material.

2009-09-13 05:40:02 AM
That's what the man did, that's what he did. He did that.

2009-09-13 05:46:40 AM
It was a 3.14 diameter.

2009-09-13 06:01:31 AM
Everyone involved with this story and headline should be shot.

2009-09-13 06:04:27 AM
"They noticed they had three bags. There were only two people in the car, so when he opened it he noticed it."

So now the number of bags must equal the number of car occupants?

/i guess in this case it must
//never got suspicious before if there were more bags than people

Great! Finally a reason to go visit a McDonald's. I wouldn't go for the food as that stuff will kill you.

the_chief: It was a 3.14 diameter.

No one was hurt, even though the gun was loaded.

You know how those guns just like to randomly shoot people.

Don't you have to eject the clip to see if it's loaded or not? Why would you do that?

2009-09-13 07:00:10 AM
LOL!

If I could sponsor, I would sponsor for the headline. Subby is on point!

Seriously, if you can submit original content with the Mc- qualifier, then you just made yourself.

/Good job!

The Dread Pirate Robertson: the_chief: It was a 3.14 diameter.

Good thing then, since Micky D's pies are rectangular and have no diameter...

.9mm? Gun caliber fail. Might have been a 45mm.

Well, if you ordered two chicken sandwiches for the two people in the car, three bags might seem a bit excessive.

Hey, dumbasses gave us free McShiat! What the Fark???

shiat. I can't even get cheese on my sausage McGriddle reliability but other people get a gun AND weed?

not necessarily. some guns have indicators to let you know if there is a bullet in the chamber.

But I suppose if he knew that, then he would know what kind of gun he had.

Now if it was me, I'd be like "Give it back? ....no. Besides, I got this gun now...what are you gonna do about it?"

FTA:Ms. Rivera called the restaurant. "She asked why he didn't contact the police. You know he is a young, black, 18-year-old child with a loaded gun and marijuana.

He was a 18 year old black kid...and he didn't know what kind of gun it was?

/Window please

Police think it was a .45 caliber or 9 millimeter.

Maybe it was a .40S&W. Probably too complex for those cops to even consider.

I'll bet that employee is going to get a good talking to monday morning. Misappropriation of a McDonald's bag. Serious business. I hope for their sake they didn't put a napkin or pack of ketchup in with the gun and weed.

You know he is a young, black, 18-year-old child with a loaded gun and marijuana. That sounds kind of suspicious so he did the right thing like the norm, strange he handed it over instead of popping a cap in the homey's arse.

I would not want a gun that I didn't buy or otherwise obtain legally. That's just me, as I am a Moran, not an idiot.
