Wow. That's actually a really good angle. I wish I'd thought of that.

It's a fine line between a reality show and a kidnapping.

2009-09-10 09:41:58 AM
Their first hint should have been that the show would be filmed in some country called "Tukey."

2009-09-10 09:42:33 AM
Fake reality show. Is there any other kind?

2009-09-10 09:43:42 AM
Directed by Andy Sidaris.

I saw this on skinemax in the 80s.

If you were going to do this, then they should have gone all out and filmed it and sold it on a porn site. It not only would make lots of money but would also be legal.

de_Selby: What possible exit strategy did the schemers have here?

I'm not thinking they thought it that far ahead. I think once they got to the part where they had nine models locked in their castle who were willing to do thinks like pout on bikinis and fight each other, they go stuck on "This is soooooo awesome!, it's like the Best john hughes movie ...ever!"

but ultimately it wouldn't have been too hard to crown one of them the "winner" and then send them all home with strict instruction not to talk about anything that happened until the show aired...

Humm. This story gives me some good ideas. I always wanted to start a reality show. It' sounds pretty easy to me. Anyone want to come meet me in Farkastan and win some big prizes.

umm

The women were made to believe they were being filmed for a Big Brother-type television show, the private Dogan news agency and other news reports said, without citing sources. Instead, their naked images were sold on the Internet, the reports said.

They did!

These guys are my kind of scum: fearless and inventive.

Well exept for the threats, those aren't cool.

A bunch of models held against their will in Turkey?
It'd probably still be more entertaining than Rock of Love.

6.5 stars on IMDB? Seems kind of high-brow for my taste. Probably not enough boobies or slashing. Or booby slashing...

Is that considered "super" in Turkey?

Dogan and HaberTurk said the women soon realized they were being duped and asked to leave the villa.
The women were told they could not leave unless they paid the fine and those who insisted were threatened, Dogan said.

Wait, what?
So they knew it was fake, but stayed anyways? For christ's sake, open a window and make a run for it.

They are "models". Probably more like country girls who got duped into thinking they can make it by getting on a reality show. Sound familiar? Thanks for exporting that shiat, America!

My dad was in a Turkish prison for a short time, so I'm really getting a kick out of these replies.
