Yeah, great idea, but way too hard to control. It did have a great typo though on the screen where you enter your high score:

"Type your name and a massage for all future players."

Really fun, but one problem....

On the second level the ball got stuck inside the bumper in the middle. In fact, there is incessant racket coming from it as I type this post. I'm not sure if the ball will ever bounce back out, but I will leave the page up overnight to see if it does.

Been done better before. At least the last time I played this 'original' concept it didn't have the annoying quirk of losing control if the mouse pointer strays too far out of the playing field.

The only real problem with it is the control issue, but since the controller (mouse) won't re-center like arcade/thumb-style games would, it's more about understanding where the mouse is. No biggie.

Pretty cool game...

But since I'm retarded I still think on the original Breakout, so when the ball goes up I stay still on the bottom waiting for it to bounce...
